Handful of D&D figures-Rares for Trade

Post by helot2000 »

My son has a handful of doubles, all still in their bags, that he'd like to trade. I thought I'd post here since this is a bunch of gamers.

Yuan-Ti Abomination-rare.
Gauth-rare.
Unicorn-rare.

A couple of figures he mentioned he'd like are other rares like

Tre'ent
Blue Slaad
Probably anything he doesn't have already. In advance, thanks.

I had only positive feedback at the old GG forum.

I may have an extra Treant , I will check when I get home tonight.

Just remembered I have my collection online at Maxminis.com

Here is what I have

You might want to look for someone over at Maxminis.com to trade with.

Thanks for the tip...I assume that you don't have an extra Treant? I'll check out the forum tonight and I appreciate your help.

Yup I only have 1, and you never know when I might want to include one in a D&D game so I probably won't trade him.

I know this isn't specific to the discussion, but if you really want to impress your geek friends, try and hunt down the plastic D+D figures that were sold in toy stores, 25 years ago. Heh, they came in big bags, like green army men.

Wow, I was playing D&D a bit more than 25 years ago but I don't remember plastic figures. Maybe it was a limited edition bag of figures.

Of course, that was when the D&D manual was (as I recall) a smallish 1 softbound booklet w/a picture of a Beholder on the front. Back then, the DM I played with didn't think he was doing a proper job unless he succeeded in killing all players-usually the same night you rolled up your character. In retrospect, I'm not sure why we played.
