I know. That's what I said.
Hillary Coughing = Universal blowjob sign = Monica = funny misogynistic jab at Hillary, cause her husband probably got head from Monica, har!

at the risk of being ignored. :)

It was funny. My observation about how the idea of blowjobs being shameful while hoping desperately that your gf/wife will blow you is a very strange dichotomy.

When I say "you" I mean society.

GO FOR BROKE – An American Story

Rising to the defense of their country, by the thousands they came – these young Japanese American soldiers from Hawaii, the states, America's concentration camps – to fight in Europe and the Pacific during World War II. Looked upon with suspicion, set apart and deprived of their constitutional rights, they nevertheless remained steadfast and served with indomitable spirit and uncommon valor, for theirs was a fight to prove loyalty. This legacy will serve as a sobering reminder that never again shall any group be denied liberty and the rights of citizenship. – Ben H. Tamashiro

I'm aware of their contributions, but calling our camps concentration camps is a bit harsh. We weren't shoveling these people into ovens. We didn't lead them on a death march to place them in internment. Hell, one war previous my grandparents might have been interred. It's different this time though, a large portion of the people we're talking about aren't going to integrate, they're not here for that. Just like that's not the reason they're in Germany, Belgium, France, etc. They're winning a war without figuratively firing a shot, and we're letting them.

They were precisely concentration camps: prisons designed to concentrate specific populations on the basis of their ethnicity. That the Nazi camps were also death camps makes no difference to that.

Racism, xenophobia, simple-minded conspiracy, guilt defined by existence. That's where the camps have always come from.

You ought to be ashamed of yourself for wanting to see them again.
Much prefer my Nazis Nuremberged.

Yeah! Japanese Americans were begging to be rounded up and forced to leave their businesses, homes and friends to go live in hastily constructed interment camps just because they had the misfortune of sharing a nationality that many of them had little connection to! They can be found grinning ear to ear in many photographs from that period as they are cheerfully told to step away from the fence by their friend, the armed guard.
It's different this time though, a large portion of the people we're talking about aren't going to integrate, they're not here for that.
That's bullshit. There are over 7 million Muslims living in this country. The overwhelming majority of them are peacefully integrated into our society. It's people who look like you or I that are more dangerous to the average American by overwhelming odds.

Be a racist, that's fine. But don't try to tell us you're not when you post shit like that.

Discrimination and segregation isn't going to "fix" terrorism. It's only going to breed more resentment and add fuel to the fire. ISIS wants nothing more than this to be an "us vs them" war. And unfortunately Trump is more than willing to play right into their hands.

I wish this was more obvious to some.

After 9/11, Bush worked hard to prevent the sort of mindset that would result in us versus them (muslims) because he understood your comments above.

He wasn't quite so adamant about it later on, but when it really mattered, when America was reeling (sp?) from the impact of 9/11, he was a true leader, not a demagogue taking advantage of peoples' weaknesses and fears.

Sorry, poor choice of words on my part. Of course it isn't fine, but I'd rather someone be blatantly racist instead of trying to convince others that their blind prejudices are justified.

It's not a binary choice.
Full Monty references aside, this ad evinces precisely the kind of stuffing-vs-potatoes, "binary choice" thinking that's got us to the point as a country where the major-parties, despite all their massive advantages in money, power, and influence have coughed up a couple of historically hated hairballs like Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. But really, say the celebs, don't even think about stepping away from this Sophie's Choice, even though a plurality of Americans now define themselves as independent and historic lows are calling themselves Democrats and Republicans.

It may not be a binary choice, but the outcome will be one of two choices.

I agree I waste too much time on this stuff, but there has to be a tiny bit of balance at least. A few voices crying out in the wilderness of political collectivism correctism

Late to the party, been busy as fuck.

Using Nazi Germany as a measuring stick is absurd. "Hey, we weren't committing mass genocide so depriving thousands of individual citizens of their fundamental liberties merely because of their cultural heritage is no biggie!"

Using a photo depicting one of the most shameful actions of our nation as an example of future actions is just stupid. Defending it by saying we didn't execute anyone is embarrassing.

Right on brother. Unfortunatley we lost that war a long time ago to the micks, wops, chinamen, yids, polacks, etc. American can never be great again now that the Mayflower blood has been tainted...
