Or maybe he realizes that even with the email issues, she's still far better a candidate than a Russian Manchurian Candidate.

Some of the pro-Trumpers remind me of Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man. "Email server, definitely email server. Benghazi. Email server and Benghazi." Lest you think I'm making fun of the disabled, I'm only copying from the best.

I don't think it, I know it.

However not being a Kennedy I don't betray things I am told in private.

The real story is he told her he wasn't voting for Trump so she assumed he would vote for Clinton. She knew he didn't want to acknowledge that publicly but being the conniving cunt she is, she used it to get some political mileage. Perfect example of why these bipartisan things never work out. Someone eventually tries to get political despite saying otherwise.
But sources with knowledge of the conversation told CNN they were surprised and disappointed that she had publicly shared a private conversation with the former president.
Kennedy Townsend declined to comment through a spokesman at the Rock Creek Group, where she works as managing director. She later took down the Facebook post.

No, you don't. That's the entire point.

You know a lot of true things that aren't true. Or might be true if only there were facts to back it up.

When I've had time I've been looking for corroboration all afternoon. last I heard Bush Spokesman said "I'll get back to you".

No, he said that he feels his vote is personal and has no plans to disclose who he is voting for publicly.

That is how real presidents respond.

I agree that they shouldn't have done this but being a woman has nothing to do with it, any more than if they had been African-American, that would have had something to do with it. The term you used is, IMO, no different than using the term n*****.

I'd call a former Republican president telling a democrat that he won't be voting for his Party's candidate and expecting it not to be news, a dumbass. Did she do the secret handshake first? Then I could see the betrayal.

A former president abandoning his party at election? That's news.

I don't know what their relationship is/was, but if he didn't want it known, he should have kept it to himself.

There are 2 scenarios here.

a) they have a relationship where personal conversations are understood to be private, in which case she betrayed his trust. That's between the two of them. Neither you nor I have any input on how they deal with it.

b) They didn't have that kind of relationship, in which case wtf did Bush tell her? This rests (almost) entirely on him.

The term "dick" has come to mean someone acting as a jerk. I'm not aware of the other word having any meaning other than a derogatory word for a woman.

In all seriousness, some terms should not be acceptable on the forum, including those that just came up.

It's not PC and it's not thought police. It's just basic decency to avoid obviously and exclusively insulting and derogatory terms.

(CNN)Former President George H.W. Bush told a room of roughly 40 people Monday that he would vote for Hillary Clinton in November, according to sources close to Bush -- an extraordinary rebuke of his own party's nominee.

Lies, damn lies, and statistics.

I'm not sure which one Bush is using but I don't think, I know, he's using one of them.

I actually don't care who he votes for, I'm just glad he recognizes a nightmare when he sees one.

I've come to learn that "not being PC" means you can't be criticized for anything you say. I'm all for free speech, myself. But I do have to wonder what would happen if those who hide behind that term were to wake up as African American women tomorrow.

Casually throwing around such terms in public is not back-slappingly rewardable behavior. There's a different word for that (see post title).

It also does more to mute your message than it does to develop topical dialog. But who's here for the topical dialog any more?

I agree. I don't mind rips differences even when it borders on trolling and I actually appreciate a completely different point of view than most people have here, but that's a very offensive term and using terms like that make this place an environment that is not inviting. As such I would hope we would all refrain from using words of that nature.

So, Hillary just postponed a local fundraiser in North Carolina "without reason". This was after her hideous interview where her eyes got all cockeyed making me sick to my stomach. Her left eye was not tracking with her right eye -- and it was very disturbing. If she does that shit during the debates she will lose for sure. Trump said on Twitter: "Hillary Clinton is taking the day off again, she needs the rest. Sleep well Hillary -- see you at the debate!"
