I cant even remember a single word. Seemed like it was spoke by a leader..a king or emperor. Was about 8 lines but wasn't the type where even line rhymed or even every other. Like one and two did but 3 rhymed with 6 and it was two parts. Very confusing.

$10 for a cauliflower? No way. I bought a head last week for $4. The little organic ones were $5.

I think from the start of moving pictures that Forrest Gump has to easily be in the top 10. Such a great great movie even today. Every time its on my wife watches it and i either watch or keep glancing. Its like Star Trek 2 in that I know it line for line all the way through.

You know what I miss more than anything in the world? Quiet.

Wonder Twins 3.6 and Little B 7.8 means a non-stop, never-ending commentary of every possible thing that occurs within a 100' radius, along with verbalization of every thought that runs through their heads. Oh, and it's in stereo.

I know that one day I'll miss it, but right now I'm willing to trade any and all nostalgia for 60 minutes of silence.

My dad was in bowling leagues for years when I was a kid. One night a week was completely sans kid. Even if I went, I was playing arcade games.

Why are there keys for cars? Everyone in the world but me knows how to how hot wire a car.
I know they have keyless cars but I bet thieves can still take 2-3 wire and scratch them together and start the car I'm sure.
Of course they don't show how to unlock the steering wheel but that's probably just another 2-3 wires.

Steering wheel locks? Of course you can just bust that off too but it keeps honest people honest. My shifter also locks. I have no idea how ease that is to circumvent.

I need to find a gentle, inoffensive way to tell my wife that cooking chicken to death while it's soaked in oil or grease doesn't make it better. It's not "moist" - it's dry and greasy all at the same time.

I have slow cooked a chicken in water and it comes out very moist. The problem is that it comes out with very little flavor. One day, when I have all of the time in the world, I'll work on a way to both briefly high temp cook a bird to make it tasty and slow cook it in moisture to keep it from drying out.

That or I'll buy a rotisserie and learn how to brine and baste.

I've grilled chicken a few times before and had it turn out beautifully moist inside - but it involved basically using my grill like a rotisserie and constantly turning the chicken so no side became overdone. I was as surprised as anyone else when it turned out so well. Normally I overcook things when I grill, and can't seem to figure out how to take things off when they're done and not "completely devoid of nutrients" ...

This stuff, my wife basically put in a covered tub of bacon grease and stuffed it in the oven at 400º for 45 minutes.

Skinless Chicken breasts
Flour seasoned with Morton Nature's Seasoning
egg dredge
coat with 1:1 mix of bread crumbs and parmesan cheese
Bake at 375 for 30-40 minutes until temped over 165.

Has gotten raves from my family, the wife, and MIL.

Brats! It's a feat to overcook a brat and lightly burning the casing does not ruin the meat. Stupid heart. I could eat brats for dinner for weeks and not tire of them and now is the perfect time to grill them. Snowy winter grilling makes everything taste better for reasons I don't understand.

Alternatively, drown white meat in ranch dressing. A chicken's dryness can never overcome enough ranch. (or my real preference it to just eat dark meat and skin, the far far superior parts of the chicken.)

2 positive points today.

1. At one thrift store I found a GI Joe Cobro t-shirt. Ya Im still a kid.

2. At another thrift store I went into the media area to look and passed to gals looking ta a David Cassidy album. They were talking trying to figure out what show he was in. As I passed I heard one say "Excuse me but...no never mind he is too young" as I passed by. I could still hear them wondering so I stepped back around and said The Partridge Family. His brother Shaun was in Hardy Boys. Hahaha felt good to be taken too young on something I grew up on then knowing the answer to boot like a boss :)

Life imitates art:
Phony dentist Robert “Robbie” Rheinlander lied through his teeth when he extracted 10 pearly whites without a license — or anesthetic, according to the Bradenton Herald of Florida.

He claimed he had been a dentist in South Carolina before moving to Palmetto, Fla., where he took root and continued the lie, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

Rheinlander offered to perform his services out of his house or at patients’ homes — to help save them money, officials said.

He had been disciplined while licensed as a dental technician from February 2004 to March 2006, gumshoes learned from the South Carolina Board of Dentistry. He did not have any dental or medical licenses in Florida.
But was it Justified?

That could be improved with if it was a cable type that pulled out to insert and leave in while cooking then retractable when done.
