As long as we're discussing The Wonders Of Your Changing Body...

I'm 48 years old. I wash my face all the time. Why do I still get pimples like I'm in Junior High?

Do you eat lots of sugary or oily foods? Those can still cause me issues.

Not especially. I'm sure I'm on the oily end of the skin spectrum, though.

American Academy of Dermatology
Yes, adults get acne. Some adults continue to get acne well into their 30s, 40s, and even 50s. It is even possible to get acne for the first time as an adult. Dermatologists call this “adult-onset acne.” It is most common among women going through menopause.

I, I, I... didn't expect to go deep with this topic.

Is there a difference between acne and pimples? I'm talking about just the little whiteheads.

I feel gross now. JUST LIKE JUNIOR HIGH.

Enjoy your upper lip bleaching and/or waxing.
I have very little body hair despite having a ton of head hair and what I do have is very fine and blonde. I've never had upper lip hair and barely have arm or leg hair. I do get one weird hair that grows out of the center of my forehead that I have to pluck, but it's basically invisible blonde and extremely thin, so no one ever notices it except me. I don't get how I check for it every day and it's not there and then one day it's there and an inch long, but otherwise, I'm ok with my hirsute levels.

Downloaded the firefox photobucket embedded addon, and just spent two hours downloading a bunch of pics that have to be rehomed, from a forum that I mod for. Headache and my eyes feel like they have been sanded.

Im too out of shape for origami. In the past Ive made the simple stuff.. a swan...a swan where when you pull its tail its wings flap. But Ive had a video of a dog origami Ive wanted to make a long time now. So today I took my pain meds so I could sit here and do it.

The video itself is 30 minutes long and Ive been working almost an hour and a half. Just about done when I notice my hands are shaking too much to do the small final creases. I dont do small tedious work well. I stopped and stood up. I was weak all over, sweating. I felt like I had walked 20 miles. Had to rest a bit. I still feel really weak. Strange how tedious stuff can kill me.

This is what Im making.

I feel overwhelming nausea every time someone is let go from a career position and it haunts me for a good long while afterwards. How do people in HR and management handle that? To make matters worse, as part of the onboarding and exiting process, I am informed beforehand that the person leaving and I have to look them in the eye and try to behave like nothing is happening. I suck at lying and concealing what is up when it affects someone's livelihood. It's destructive to my fragile mental state.

Sucks.

Had to tell someone. I don't feel better, but I had to tell someone.

You're not secretly my former boss, are you? I got laid off yesterday. Wife is six months pregnant, bought a new house and started a kitchen reno in the last four months, and our company finally instituted three months of parental leave.... and they canned me (and six others) yesterday. Fuck.

Golden Flake Tangy Pickle BBQ chips.

Was looking for the only BBQ chips I like....Pringles Memphis BBQ......and could not find any. So I saw Golden Flake had a new one. I haven't had GF chips in ages so decided to give them a go. Wasn't expecting great things but these are very good. On a scale to 10 Id rate them an 8. They are not hard at all and have plenty of flavor powders on them.

The first one I ate made me make a face it was sour. But a couple chips in and that leveled out to a great tasting pickle bbq. In fact soon as you open the bag thats the smell you get. Not sure how they do it but its pretty spot on to me.

Also a great price. Think mine was $2. But the bag is barely half full.

Including a delivery of a 65" 4K HDR tv. Which I probably won't be able to watch at all this weekend. First world problems, argh!
