It seemed suspiciously contrived.
I've re-read and I'm not seeing it. The closest I can find is that he still thinks Scoop is suspicious... which he is, right?
You and Unagi seem to be trying to bend this into "Moliere still thinks Scoop is the Beserker".

To me, Scoop was suspicious on Day One when he spoofed a role and then backed off in the face of the rival claim, at which point he started merrily singing "Kill Me Kill Me Kill Me." This made Wolfy sense only if Scoop was the Berserker. If he was any other Evil role, it was the worse possible play for his side.

Now, of course, we know bb2112 was the Berserker.

I cast my vote for Moliere yesterday (real time) right after he said this:
Moliere wrote:So are we officially forgetting Scoop's wolfish behavior on Day 1?
It's not a smoking gun, but it's the best I've seen to go on. It could be a wolf trying to drum up a plausible lynch.

 Withdraw Holman

I don't really understand the argument to vote for Moliere.
So I'm going to go with;
 Accuse Punisher

He's hyper defensive and still using the "I'm a new guy" pass.
1) considering the amount of games the rest of you have played with each other and the quickness with which I have been killed in most games, I do still consider myself a n00b... :P
2) I don't consider rebutting an acusation hyper defensive. Other than that, not sure where you are getting this from.
3) not sure what using the new guy pass means... Nobody has cut me slack for being the new guy and I don't recall using new guy as a defense for being accused or anything.
4)  withdraw Sccop

5)  Archinerd

6) :P
Like my sccop vote, this is only for now.

My vote on Moliere was out of frustration that he’s not giving me his A game. It’s a consistent pattern for him however. Still, making me pay for my play ignored the fact you are playing into the wolves plans. You are certainly a better player than that.

I’m back to who is the best test today. Ugh, you have me confused. Good job.

That's the one thing that I don't like (re: the Moliere vote). I don't think he would - but then, that could be why he would.

So, who knows.

This game is frustrating because no one is giving themselves away. I would expect Grund to be chosen for a team, and I would also expect him to give nothing away.

So, what exactly happened to the Grund vote?

He didn't cry out 'Seer', and he sat at N-1 for a good long while.

Either:

1. Grund is Good and the wolves were already on the vote.
2. Grund is Good and the wolves didn't want to kill him.
3. Grund is Evil and they didn't want to push him over.
4. Grund is Evil and the wolves were already on the vote.

I will take 2 and 4 off the list.... just highly unlikely.

1. is possible.
3. is possible.

If ever there was a "wolf" who wouldn't cry out "Seer!!!" at N-1, it would be Grund.

And lets not forget how he strung that vote out - and how he taunted folks that killing him would be shooting the village in the foot....

I think we should go back to the Grund vote, TBH.

The popcorn posts?? Is that what you are saying is, me cheering you on? That's not me cheering you on, that was me waiting for people to chime in on things.

But, I am not even clear what you are saying right now? That if I was cheering you on for Punisher, why aren't I joining you on that vote?

Honestly, with enough players nipping at my heels, team Parasite might very well sit back. So 2 is also possible. Although 3 is impossible from my perspective, I understand why you have to consider it. I agree that 4 is unlikely, but if your premise is that Team Parasite is some sort of ultra-experienced dream-team, then wouldn't even 4 be possible? We've seen bizarre games and odds-defying play before.
If ever there was a "wolf" who wouldn't cry out "Seer!!!" at N-1, it would be Grund.
Thanks. But to be fair, I'd probably at least consider it before deciding on a more subtle approach. After all, sometimes it's the best move.

Actually, that's very interesting. With bb2112 dead... if I were evil then there would only be one other Parasite, right? So only one of the players voting against me as I lingered at N-1 would have to be that Parasite.

So why do you consider that "highly unlikely"?

Not sure, but you're right, I thought of "two wolves" on "Evil Grund"... and that didn't seem very likely to me at all.... But no, there would be just 1 other wolf, and the idea that the 1 other wolf got on your N-1 train isn't entirely implausible - so I will downgrade my 'highly unlikely' to 'unlikely'.

Grund’s bandwagon sat for several days at n-2 and n-1. Why no one chose to push him over I don’t know.

Why didn’t the mad scooper Moliere take him out?

I see you imputing to me the claim of Seer.... sort of the way a wolf trying to out a Seer might do.

Here's what I think: you wanted to deflect from or dismiss the idea that two wolves would be voting against me because you know I'm not a wolf. When I'm not a wolf, there are two wolves.

You just poked the innocents.

Sorry for being so AWOL. Life has been hectic and finding time to catch up on this thread has been impossible. I started a reread several times but too much time passes between attempts to make that valuable really. I'd like to say I'm still firm in my belief that Unagi is a bad guy but one of the reasons I wanted to reread was to reevaluate that belief and now I've lost the train of this game and am not sure what is going on with it. I need to find the time to parse through these pages and see what I think. Not sure how quickly I can make that happen. If my absence is an issue for the village feel free to take me out because I'm not sure I'll be able to participate at the level I feel these games deserve any time soon. Should have held off playing until after things settled down at work and with volleyball season.

Perhaps... but I'm a bit of a lightning rod, so - in any case, he didn't.

Grund and Remus' unwavering focus on me is among the things that make them seem wolf to me. No real analysis... nothing much to say - just 'hey look at Unagi' .

But, for me... in re-reads - could almost see me giving Punisher an unearned pass, or Holman, or Archinerd. And so I could see it being one or two of them... (Holman least).
Moliere is a mystery, mostly entirely in : Why not change your read on Scoop once another zerker was detected... I don't get how he didn't adjust.

(I feel most strongly at this point that Vorret and Scoop are not wolf... so if they are, I'm fooled).

I guess Remus and Grund are my 'Moliere to Scoop'... Not that I have as distinct a 'moment' for everyone's re-reflection (as Scoop /w Zerker), but that in both cases our accusers have just been single minded.

But, there are only 2 wolves, and 3 of them - and hence at least one of them is indeed just being bullheaded (not evil).

Grundbegriff approaches riding his bike, he stops in the middle of the group, breathing hard, "Whew, that was a good ride. Here I found these during my trek." He pulls some pictures of wolves from his backpack.

"Yes, those are nice, but we are in the middle of something important here." Scoop says as he notices his shadow stretched out on the ground. It grows longer by the minute. A thought crosses Scoops mind. He unzips his pants and pulls out Mr. Happy to see how big of a shadow it casts. He smiles and nods his head and whispers, "Yea, Mr. Happy is a big boy now isn't he."

Moliere walks up to Scoop and slaps him in the head, "Put that away! You are not helping at all!"

The light of day continues to fade...
