There is no need for any one to post when I die. The sun will get bigger and hotter and then explode taking out the whole solar system.
So there is no need to post about it.

Marilyn Manson injured:
“The Dope Show” singer issued a statement Sunday that said his Oct. 2-14 shows will be rescheduled. That means dates in Boston; Huntington, New York; Toronto; Camden, New Jersey; Columbus, Ohio; Chicago; Milwaukee; Kansas City, Missouri; and Houston are affected.

Manson, whose 10th album “Heaven Upside Down” comes out Friday, was injured Saturday night toward the end of his set, ending the concert early. Variety reported that Manson fell backward onstage and a prop fell on him. He will be recuperating at his home in Los Angeles.
That puts him back on stage in Dallas on the 15th.

I kind of want to try one of these (just not an Elvis-sized portion):
Fool's Gold Loaf

This is no ordinary PB&J, folks. Eat at your own risk. For the curious, here's the recipe:

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 T margarine
  • 1 loaf French white bread
  • 1 lb / 450 g bacon slices
  • 1 jar of smooth peanut butter
  • 1 jar of grape jelly
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 350F/180C. Spread the margarine generously all over all sides of the loaf. Place it on a baking sheet in the oven.

Meanwhile, fry the bacon in a bit of oil until it is crisp and drain it thoroughly on paper towels.

Remove the loaf from the oven when it is evenly browned, after approximately 15 minutes. Slice the loaf lengthwise and hollow out the interior, leaving as much bread along the walls as desired. Slather a thick layer of peanut butter in the cavity of the loaf and follow with another thick layer of grape jelly. Use lots of both.

Arrange the bacon slices inside the cavity, or, if desired, layer the bacon slivers between the peanut butter and jelly. Close the loaf, slice and eat.

Serves one if you're Elvis. Serves 8-10 if you're a regular person.

In my family we ate Monkey Salad as a stand-alone and in sandwiches. That is peanut butter, mayo (NOT Miracle Whip!) and bananas. It is divine and I still crave it to this day.

I was looking at the Japanse Scifi collection on Humble Bundle. Actually I'm only interested in two books: Yukikaze and Good luck Yukikaze. But I checked Amazon prices... They are like $20 by themselves, in eBook format. Eeek.

Any one who bought it want to trade from my old Storybundle Catalog?

Wiki

Yekaterinburg was founded in November 18, 1723, named after Russian emperor Peter the Great's wife, Yekaterina, who later became Catherine I after Peter's death, serving as the mining capital of the Russian Empire as well as a strategic connection between Europe and Asia at the time.
...
The Yekaterinburg agglomeration is the fourth largest urban agglomeration in Russia, as well as one of the three most developed post-industrial agglomerations of the country.

Damn Amazon... They closed my Associates account AGAIN, for no particular reason than "because you had previously violated associates agreement". ****!

I wasn't cheating any one and anything I earned is going right back to Amazon. So what's the f***ing problem?!

Those agreements are too esoteric any way.

Urban dictionary definition of A/S/L

a/s/l
Age / Sex / Location. The mating call of the barely post-pubescant teenager. Typically the male initiates this signal, as an attempt to attract a female that can give an honest reply to his liking. More often, however, the male is fooled by another male, generally much older, who will impersonate his "dream girl" for his own sick, sadistic pleasure.

Horny teenager: "A/S/L?"
50yr old bald, obese guy sitting naked at computer, scratching double chin and eating cheetos: "16/F/hopefully in your bedroom soon ;) "
Horny Teenager: "Wanna cyber?!?!"
50yr old dude: "Thought you'd never ask!!!!!"

Had the estate sale at Mom's house this weekend and got rid of a fair amount of stuff. House will be closed on next Tuesday, so a lot of packing up things to fleamarket later, stuff for the boys when they move out. Furniture that was given to me needs to come over to my house. Mom had a rarety, a sleeper sofa that was pretty good at doing both, and that was earmarked for my ex, until my son bought her a skeeball table for Christmas.
I know one thing, once l retire, l'm cleaning out this place so my kids don't have to do this much work.
It's been quite the blur. The house went into the system on a Friday, and by Thursday, Linda had three offers, one of which was the asking price. Due to my insistance, we painted the house and between that and one of her friends spending five days cleaning, my ex cleared at least 40-50 grand more than if she just dumped it like she wanted to. Yay me. ;-)

My mother-in-law had almost no money to pay for that sort of thing. Her sole asset was the house, and since l work for free more money goes to her and our kids. I was able to take advantage of the hip surgery and everything really worked very well.

DeFault you must be a rarity giving so much to an ex who normally would get nothing. Either you're a saint or your ex was very close to your mom.

Actually, he often calls her "mom", but, as I recall, it was his ex-wife's mother. And he was the "very close" one.

When I was in college my Mustang's exhaust system depended heavily on coat hangers and thermal tape. I used to have to crawl under there every couple of weeks to patch up holes. Being young and skinny didn't help as much as you might think.
