The shot I had in my wrist completely alleviated a problem I had been having. The shot in the shoulder was only a temporary fix for some shoulder stiffness from the bursitis. I still have the bursitis but the shoulder hasn't locked up again.Daehawk wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 9:17 pm Got a shot in my shoulder once. Didn't feel a thing. By the time I left about 10 min later my arm didn't feel numb but it was swinging and awkward to use as if it was half asleep. By the next day it was normal again and the shoulder pain was gone. That was a year ago. Its still pretty much ok though ive had a twinge from it once or twice.

In the past 9 days I have bought a new house and new car. One was at least fun to research but both of them were stressful and I don't recommend doing both at the same time unless you are buying an RV.

I am waiting on some money (I have a small inheritance coming) and when it comes we will be buying replacements for our old travel trailer and my truck. But we have been looking at a new trailer for years now, but without the new truck it was a no go.

You are not alone. I never understood her appeal. I even forced myself to sit through 'the guild' and i read her book. The book made her seem like she is not 'celebrity' but i still don't get it.

I didn't really get her shtick until I saw her on Eureka! But generally speaking, no I'm not a fan and I said so in some other thread where she came up. I don't quite understand why people are enamored of her.

I don’t hate her or anything. But man, she was almost Pearl levels of blah in the MST3K reboot. Even with Patton Oswald pulling her up a level with his presence.

I'll admit that I don't think she's an inspired comedian, but she's adorable, and a sunny presence goes a long way.

I'd go along with that. She's competently talented at various things and she hangs around with a cool crowd, but she's always been kinda peripheral, and the "cute and confused" persona starts wearing thin when a woman's well into her 30s. Except on Sarah Silverman. She still pulls off cute.

Mom and dad were supposed to come out tomorrow for 5 or so days. Dad spent 9 hours at the hospital with mom on Wednesday and now they can't come out. Fine, I'll look into it for me to go out there with Mrs Tjg.

2000$ round trip. Are you fucking kidding me? Fuck the airline industry in this country.
I hate being away from them as dad's health deteriorates. We both have so much guilt. He was fine 3 years ago when we moved out here. Ugh.

You could try shipping yourself there. Oh, right, that would actually cost more, somehow.tjg_marantz wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2018 1:23 am 2000$ round trip. Are you fucking kidding me? Fuck the airline industry in this country.
Yeah, prices here are not supported by standard supply/demand. The market is too small and there is not enough competition. Luckily (unluckily?) the government is fine with getting in there and kicking some asses around on occasion, you know, just to keep them honest.

I wish I found her to be hilarious and enthralling to continue to put you on the wrong side of everything when it comes to humor. I take solace in the fact that I don't think of her as comic actor and don't pay attention to her enough to find her annoying.

I like her on Supernatural. Her character does provide a bit of comic relief but that's not the focus of the role.Kraken wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2018 11:36 pmI'd go along with that. She was a guest celebrity at a game convention I attended years ago. But I was too focused on my arch nemesis Kevin Sorbo at the time to notice. One of these days I'll get my revenge on that guy.

Side note: if you jokingly use the cover of an old Anson Williams record, complete with his smiling face beaming up at you, as your avatar on outlook.com...and then log into a company meeting without checking to make sure skype is using your Office 365 account, you may suddenly hear the words, "Why the hell are you Potsie?" after joining.
