Those looked rather harmless, so I was flipping through them with the kids last night.

And then the boob one...

Google his name and then click on images. There are actually a lot more than what shows up on the 5 pages of that link.

I liked the one example that showed the three pictures that he used to create the final shot.

Out browsing the storefronts over the weekend, and came across these. Not sure if they're up your alley or if you already knew about them, hepcat.

Naming things.....movies / games.....the same name as a slightly older one is damn annoying. It makes it hell to talk to someone about, to look up on Google, or know if you own it. Just now I was gifted a game and when I tried to reg it it said I already own it. But I own the old one not the new one. grrrrr.

On steam games have app IDs. There shouldn't be any confusion over the title text, as that's for display purposes only.

Everything code based, like registering a game or accepting a gift game should be using the unique app id.

'course bugs exist, and legacy code can muck with things.

I am very sick of bugs in the spring. There's tons of lady bugs and stink bugs but the most bugs Ive ever saw are here now...Boxelder Bugs. They dont seem to smell, dont bite, dont damage plants....but there are 1000s of them and they like to form giant clumps. They get in the house and fill the windows and get in your food and drinks. So nasty. And dont crush them or they stain like a dye.

Spring? We've had them all winter long at my work and spring is nowhere insight. We've had an exterminator come out but they're not hybernating somewhere.

Usually you see them in hoards but there is no hoarding here. They just straggle about one or two or three at a time.

We have had tons of lady bugs and stink bugs in the winter but this year wasn't 'too' bad. Still some left over. but now that its warmed up the house in covered in Boxelders. And theres a lot inside too. And now giant black flies are here. Our chihuahua thinks they are dive bombers with 4 engines. I even hear their doppler effect as they scream past. And our weather is showing in the 70s for the next two weeks.

I've put down around 200 ladybugs this year. The first time I've done it. The keep flying to my little corner of the bedroom and crawling on my computer screen, or landing me or flying into my eyes, getting into my drinks and making a major pest of themselves. I had big balls of them in two corners of the bedroom.
I know they're good for the environment generally but not back on me and my computer.

FWIW, the lady bugs in your house probably aren't getting out again, so their environmental careers are over.

Dammit.

Now sitting in the hospital with my wife, who was hit by a car while bicycling. Totally (and there were witnesses) the driver's fault.

Ultimately she'll be fine, but she won't be able to walk for a while. She didn't hit her head or anything. But we're still waiting to hear whether her leg is broken.

Glad it's not a break. Still no fun to be hit by a car. It's a unique experience I don't want to repeat. Not unlike having a building move through your personal space. It's unyielding and forceful, and really puts your soft human form in perspective.

Was the driver texting, drunk, reckless...?

He was about 20 years old and apparently just lazy. Probably he was sloppily relying on peripheral vision to catch any car-sized objects at the intersection.

My wife stopped, thought she made eye contact, and had time to move out into the middle of the intersection before he suddenly lunged into his left turn and hit her. He did stop and was very apologetic, and he was suitably deferential to us, to the witnesses, and to the officer who took the report.

I once got hit-and-runned on my bike, so this is at least an improvement on that.

Speaking as a driver who has to be on roads with inattentive drivers and as someone who has had to pay medical bills and fears one day being in a condition where I can't work, I concur.

Were these the little red ones (ladybugs) or the similar looking, larger, orange terror bugs (that I think came from Japan?) Those are fall pests here, get in doors, stink when you squish them and bite if they land on you.

Good luck to your wife.

When I was doing a lot of bike commuting (20 miles each day, all city riding) I'd try to make eye contact with cars whenever there was a potential conflict. Twice though I nearly got whacked, once by an SUV that passed me on the left and then decided to turn right in front of me while I was doing 20+ mph (he stopped just in time for me to swerve in front of his car as I was preparing to broadside him). Another time, a girl on a cell phone blew a top sign and I just managed to break in time...she saw me and gave me an "oopsie!" look. :x

Not if his insurance comes through for the medical bills and a new bike, as it looks like will be the case.

The leg will heal, but the bike had to be put down.

I hate real tv. I also never liked those court tv shows like the ones that started with Whopner. Never watched a bit of them. But I gotta say that watching Judge Judy on YouTube is a damn pleasure lol. I love that lady. She isn't afraid to tell people to shut up and she doesn't take the same side. She is totally impartial. She is a joy.

I think I know what bugs me about the DC movies after watching the Justice League movie again the other night. Folks are always climbing on top of things to pose. Batman on ledges, Womder Woman on statues....I mean, why? No one can see you, dipshit. And now you gotta make your way back down at some point.
