Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens’ attorneys have asked a judge to issue a restraining order blocking Attorney General Josh Hawley from investigating the governor.
It probably matters to no one but me, but I am enraged that Trump, who uses the famous and beautiful Resolute desk in his Oval Office, puts his fucking Diet Coke with ice or whatever on it WITHOUT A COASTER.

This is a dude who drives his golf cart onto the greens at his own golf courses. He doesn't respect physical objects other than himself, because if they get ruined, they can always be thrown out and replaced. His own convenience is the most important thing.
Yes, that includes people.
I can't imagine, even at my most inebriated, hearing a bouncer offering me an hour with a stripper for only $1,400 and thinking That sounds like a reasonable idea.-Two Sheds

Because he made friends with the one person nearly as obnoxious, egotistical, narcissistic, and annoying as he is?
Or because he made a complete lunatic decide, “yeah...that guy just might actually be as crazy as he seems, so I’ll pretend to play nice for a while.”

What have you accomplished?
Just another case of nepotism as far as I'm concerned.
Elitists going to be elite.

I was just about to post that. Hoooooly shit.
The deadpan voice, the faint twang of banjos, the casual racism... for the children. In short it's a masterpiece.
The man is personally responsible for the death of 29 miners. I'm pretty sure more West Virginians are going to remember that come election day than not.

Just to be clear... I find it a masterpiece in the same way I find The Room a masterpiece.
If that ad actually speaks to Republicans in the way Blankenship apparently wants it to, we're more fucked than I realized.
It's a perfect example of what's coming with the Party of Trump. Blankenship is running "against the Swamp," which means attacking everyone to his left, starting (because it's a primary) with the nearest Republicans. It's important for him to signal that he is extreme.
Saying "China people" doubles down on earlier remarks that got him in hot water. The imputation then was that McConnell is somehow pro-Beijing because he married Elaine Chao (Taiwan-born, but whatever); now it's signalling to the MAGA crowd that he is unbound by political correctness and unafraid to be openly racist.

Oh, I was just adding an aside. The man is pure scumbag. By some accounts he started all this as a way to run cheap ads that try to exonerate him from being a scumbag mine owner that ignored safety measures and kept two sets of records to hide that fact...and then went to jail for those actions after they resulted in a mine explosion. He should be rotting in hell, not running for office.
