And that this idiot's legacy is that of the great divider, and an enemy of our people.
That title should be reserved for McConnell. When it's all said and done Trump's legacy is yet to be determined. I'd put even money on the great patsy and an enemy of common good.
Patsy implies a naive victim. He's at least a useful idiot.

Great Useful Idiot doesn't sound right though. The Internet suggest Flying Monkey is similar term. Who knew? So mayby
the great flying monkey and an enemy of common good.
Reports now on CNN getting a device, and Debbie Wasserman Schultz's offices were just evacuated due to a suspicious package.

Man, I'm thinking of everything in terms of its political impact now. My first thought was "hmmm, democratic-leaning people getting bombs seems like it would be a net positive for Democrats for the midterms politically".

Trump is probably thinking the same thing. That's why Barron is in the basement with a chemistry set and a self addressed package.
I see the comments on Fox that it's just the Dems mailing bombs to themselves to draw attention away from the mass of horror that is walking to our border. I swear movies have more believable story lines compared to reality lately.
Capitalism tries for a delicate balance: It attempts to work things out so that everyone gets just enough stuff to keep them from getting violent and trying to take other people’s stuff.
Breaking: Additional Suspicious package intercepted at Congressional mail facility in Maryland - processes mail for House members. Teams were sent out this morning, and a canine unit sent to sweep the area as well.
It's really weird how after two years of Trump and Fox News yelling about how the Democrats are literally demons, and Trump even suggesting maybe someone could take matters into their own hands, that someone would send a bunch of explosive devices to the very same Dems that they keep yelling about. Like, would Maxine Waters be a representative anyone would be familiar with if it wasn't for Trump constantly name dropping her at rallies?
I can't imagine, even at my most inebriated, hearing a bouncer offering me an hour with a stripper for only $1,400 and thinking That sounds like a reasonable idea.-Two Sheds

Still going to need more info. What exactly are in these "suspicious packages?" Bombs? Fake bombs? White powdery substance? Bags of screws? I mean it could just be something with shifty-eyed faces drawn on the outside for all we know. Or with an illegible return address.

At least some of them have been called suspected pipe bombs. Here's the one that CNN received
Yeah, the ones to the Obamas, Clintons, and CNNs were pipe bombs
Bryan Paamann, an FBI special agent in charge of the counterterrorism division in New York, said the devices appeared to be pipe bombs. A law enforcement official told CNN that the initial examination of all of the devices shows them to be constructed similarly. At least one of the devices appeared to contain projectiles, including shards of glass. The devices are rudimentary but functional.

What was in the packages?
The devices are suspected to be pipe bombs.
Law enforcement officials tell US media that the device discovered at CNN on Wednesday appears to be similar to the one found at Mr Soros' home on Monday.
Police commissioner Mr O'Neill also said law enforcement found an "envelope containing white powder" in the packaging of the device sent to CNN.
The powder is being investigated, but authorities found "no additional threats" after sweeping the area.
A US official told the Associated Press that a "functional explosive device" was found during a screening of mail sent to the home of Mr and Mrs Clinton in Chappaqua, New York.
For the record, I am suitably appalled at this turn of events, and would be just as appalled if they had been sent to McConnell and friends, including the prez.

Hell ya. I despise McConnell and want him out of office and I'm appalled that he is being verbally assaulted at a restaurant and that these protestors went so far as to handle food at his table. Appalled doesn't begin to describe any act of terrorism. Pitchforky is closer description and while I want the GOP the dismantled, I don't the faces of their party dismembered and I can only pray that I never get to a point where I feel like I do but thinking there is a chance it could happen is precisely why I want them unilaterally gone.

That's how I feel, but he still tweeted with the respect of the office. How many times can you say he's done this?
I just hate to hear about these bombs - crazies + politics are a volatile mix.
I find it curious that none of the bombs went off. What are the odds that a technician could build that many devices and all of them failed? Not even a smoking detonator?
What use would a bomb that did not explode be? I don't get it.
It's like telling Democrats, "Hey, that other guy may have been out of line but you did deserve some of it by having those beers and wearing that suggestive skirt."

It's been said countless times and each time it feels closer to the truth and less like hyperbole, but my gut tells me this is how 1930s Germany felt.
Those comments are pathetic. Every day that goes by I find myself wondering more and more how I ever self identified with them for 25+ years. Smh.

He mouthed the words. Lets see how his rally tonight goes before we start sucking his Toad too hard.
No quotes from cheeto in chief that I've seen but the deplorables were booing en masse to the mere mention of HRC by one of the rally fluffers in WIS. Even if by some miracle trump manages to sound presidential tonight, one instance of baseline civility amidst his swamp of repulsiveness wouldn't be enough for me. He's shown 1000x over what he is; mouthing platitudes off a teleprompter changes nothing.

Trump's power derives from hatred, fear, and lies. He can briefly pretend otherwise when circumstances warrant, but he can't change. He rode those attributes to the top, and he must continually stoke them to stay there.

What a strange post.
What is your issue here? That a guy smart enough to make a bomb but dumb enough to send it to secret service guarded people, was also dumb enough not to take the fact that all mail gets screened long before it gets anywhere near them?
That protections designed for exactly this scenario worked?
That CNN didn't lose their mailroom?
What's the confusion?
