Stone threatened to steal Credico's dog as described on page 20 of the indictment. Don't let John Wick hear that.

Not all are necessarily related to this investigation but there were 12 sealed indictments handed down over the last 2 days. This series of filings lead David Shortell to rush to Stone's residence to get that video of the FBI raid.

Some other good candidates for roll up by Mueller include the Ari Melber panel from a few days ago: Page, Caputo, Corsi, and Nunberg.

Let's check in with Sarah to get her thoughts on what happened with Roger Stone this morning:
“This has nothing to do with the president and certainly nothing to do with the White House,” Sanders said on CNN. “This is something that has to do solely with that individual.”

Sanders downplayed Stone as “somebody who has been a consultant for dozens of Republican presidents and candidates and members of Congress,” even though he had been known to speak frequently with Trump after leaving his campaign in 2015.
She even did it with a straight face - watch the video.

This is pretty huge.

What's the spread on how long it takes Stone to flip? Does he really think a pardon is coming?
I’ve been waiting for this day ever since I saw the Netflix documentary on Stone (“Get Me Roger Stone”). He’s a vile human being, and it’s about time he sees some justice.

That said, I don’t think he’s going to flip. He’s an old zealot, and one I think would rather go down for “the cause” than try to save his own bacon. But I’ll be happy if I’m proven wrong on that. We’ll see.

Seems like the Stone arrest is the perfect time to distract everyone by declaring a National Emergency.

Also, as pointed out on Qt3, it's great that many of the charges Mueller has filed in his indictments stem from Trump associates lying to the House during hearings started by Republicans as a means to clear Trump of any Russia allegations. Whoops!

I just learned from Empty Wheel that was Randy Credico’s therapy dog Bianca, who attended his grand jury appearance with him.

Speaking before a raucous crowd outside the courthouse, Stone vowed to fight the case.

“I will plead not guilty to these charges. I will defeat them in court,” he said. Some in the crowd jeered and chanted “lock him up.” Others shouted support for Stone.

“There is no circumstance whatsoever under which I will bear false witness against the president nor will I make up lies to ease the pressure on myself. I look forward to being fully and completely vindicated,” Stone said. “I will not testify against the president because I would have to bear false witness.”
...
Stone did not immediately respond to requests for comment, but when previously asked about the idea he may have lied to Congress, said: “I don’t think any reasonable attorney who looks at it would conclude that I committed perjury, which requires intent and materiality.”

CNN's response was great.

CNN’s ability to capture the arrest of Roger Stone was the result of determined reporting and interpreting clues revealed in the course of events. That’s called journalism. #FactsFirst

So just in case you aren't up to date on GOP bullshit - the latest potential pool of drama past the shutdowns is that the Republicans are allegedly dragging their feet on announcing members of 4 committees preventing them from operating: Climate Change, Ethics, House Administration, and Intelligence. Hopefully a little sunlight will get McCarthy moving on these appointments sooner than later.
