Back when we had the plate I went to pick up my wife at the beauty shop. I quickly parked and jumped out and noticed 2 guys across from me eyeing me as I walked towards the door. The ycouldn't see the tag on the back of the car. One said something smart to me like "Must really needed that spot" or something. Being a jerk. I hate people like that so just said "yep"

They ended up going in the same shop..maybe their girlfriend of something. Soon as the guy that spoke saw my wife coming to me with her pillows she had to sit on to be tall enough and her walking cane he couldn't apologize enough. My wife had no idea what he was blathering about but he was just spitting out sorry sorry I didn't know kinda stuff really fast. Sigh. I miss her.

I will say that during the 25 some odd years we went to the mall I cant count the number of cars in handicapped places with no tag or placard or anything. Usually it was out of towners.

This is pretty common. Many people with disabilities rely on someone else to drive. When that someone uses a handicapped space, it's legitimate if they're providing easier access for someone who needs it.

I never even thought about this until we combined households with my aging in-laws.

My doctor told me requirements were based on how far you could walk without resting. It varied from state to state from 50' to 200'. In Arkansas it was 100'.
Of course there were exceptions to be noted on the sheet too.

I'm sure he had a doctor as a good friend.
Of course I could be wrong.
Another thing I see here locally is big shiny pickups some of them 6 wheelers with handicap stickers.
If you are handicapped why do you have a pickup?
Of course I have an olde pickup (2001 RAM) that has a handicapped card for it. (but that's different  ) It's mainly my backup car and the kids use it more than me. Has less than 60K on it and still runs great.

At first glance, I see lots of strong contenders, but no obvious bulldozer. I'm particularly impressed by Pope Thrower, Deicide Huxtable, Candy Button Disco, and Ecclesiastical Denzel Washington.

Working on getting drunk today. I hardly ever drink or drank. I maybe would have a 6 pack within a years time and only for my kidney stones. I have had some beer saved but was worried it would make my sadness and loss worse. But the last 2 days have been terrible days anyways. Sadness and 8 or more cries a day. So today Im getting drunk. It doesn't seem to matter if I dont drink anything...so off I go.

Ill probably end up puking. If only my wife was here.

Weirdness. I have two ticket stubs labeled Star Wars Jan 23 12

Theres was no Star Wars 2012. My guess is it was the noon showing as its matinee pricing at $5.50 each. Im 'pretty sure' this was the 2017 one. We saw it Jan 23 2018. The Last Jedi. I know we saw The Force Unleased at the other theater so this must be Last Jedi.

Oh well. Im glad I have stubs from movies with Donna over our 31 years .I still have Ghost and Titanic and such ones here someplace.

I guess this Dec I go alone. I don't want to go without her but we saw the other 2 and she wouldn't want me to miss the 3rd and final one....but going to be tough.

All six original films were remastered and re-released in 3d in the theaters in 2012.

I saw the original re release in theaters but a different one and many years ago. Much more than 7 years. Plus only saw that first one. I dont recall any Star Wars I saw in 2012. I remember Gran Torino, the first two Star Treks JJ style, Batman The Dark Knight...but no Star Wars.

Anyways........after 2 walking in clinics with xrays my left hand is still pretty un usable. I can open and close it. I cannot twist a door knob, open a bag of chips or a soda bottle of any type. Very painful and theres a bone humped up in the wrist thats not in my right. Ive never noticed it before. Both walk ins xrayed them and didn't call to tell me its broken. In fact both places had their own people say it wasn't broke. But I fell on my hands back mid to last Feb and its still hurting and sometimes very painful. Ive set an appointment for next week wit ha sports medicine place with good reviews in my town and an orthopedic surgeon type doc is going to check it. Im hoping at the very least he can tell me some exorcises or something I can do.

My father in law used a large metal hand cranked grinder. It viced to a table and had a huge handle to spin. Worked great for Thanksgiving turkey salad. He used his own homemade dill pickles in it. I miss so much in my life now being all alone. Ive never lived alone in my life before..ever..at all. I came across that grinder the other day on the back porch. Its all rusty now and needs a good cleaning.
