The "Mana" debut from Idle Hands has rocketed up to my top album of 2019 so far. It's as if someone threw Sisters of Mercy, The Cure, Mission UK, and Morrisey into a blender, then added a dash of Tribulation to finish off the mix. It's a fantastic album that I simply cannot stop listening to.

never got into that guy's music, tho Bob's younger brother David lived across the river from our house in my podunk hometown (and probably still lives there). his sons went to my school - one was a grade above me and one a grade under.

Never liked Dylan. That nasally noise didn't appeal to me. But for some reason I loved Tom Petty. Guess it was because Petty was more my generation and more rock. Now I gotta go listen to You Got Lucky.

Dylan was an acquired taste for me. The 80s was my teen decade and Dylan was mostly crap in the 80s. I picked up a few albums after constant references from artists I did like and after "Blonde On Blonde" and "Desire" clicked for me the rest fell into place.

Aside from "Infidels", 80s Dylan is still pretty terrible in my opinion.
