I dont know how he did it but Joey Chestnut downs 413 Hooters chicken wings.

You'd think a pile of 413 wings would be bigger than him. I might be able to eat 7. As a bottomless pit teenager I might have ate 20 But 413!?

Stephen King kills Richard Bachman...his alias

When it was time for the book to go to press, King received a call asking about a pen name. According to King, a Bachman Turner Overdrive record was playing and a Richard Stark novel was on his desk. Stark was the pen name for writer Donald E. Westlake—hence “Richard Bachman.”

Whether Bachman could have one day rivaled King in popularity will have to remain a mystery. During his short time in publishing, he would sometimes get favorable notices that hinted at a bright future. “This is what Stephen King would write like if Stephen King could really write,” remarked one reviewer.

LOL...he was great in The Green Mile. RIP.

Found this online today and laughed.

SENIOR SEX

The husband leans over and asks his wife, "Do you remember the first time we had sex together over fifty years ago? We went behind the village tavern where you leaned against the back fence and I made love to you."
Yes, she says, "I remember it well."

OK, he says, "How about taking a stroll around there again and we can do it for old time's sake?"

"Oh Jim, you old devil, that sounds like a crazy, but good idea!"
A police officer sitting in the next booth heard their conversation and, having a chuckle to himself, he thinks to himself, I've got to see these two old-timers having sex against a fence. I'll just keep an eye on them so there's no trouble. So he follows them.

The elderly couple walks haltingly along, leaning on each other for support aided by walking sticks. Finally, they get to the back of the tavern and make their way to the fence The old lady lifts her skirt and the old man drops his trousers. As she leans against the fence, the old man moves in.. Then suddenly they erupt into the most furious sex that the policeman has ever seen. This goes on for about ten minutes while both are making loud noises and moaning and screaming. Finally, they both collapse, panting on the ground.

The policeman is amazed. He thinks he has learned something about life and old age that he didn't know.

After about half an hour of lying on the ground recovering, the old couple struggle to their feet and put their clothes back on. The policeman, is still watching and thinks to himself, this is truly amazing, I've got to ask them what their secret is.

So, as the couple passes, he says to them, "Excuse me, but that was something else. You must've had a fantastic sex life together. Is there some sort of secret to this?"

Shaking, the old man is barely able to reply,"Fifty years ago that wasn't an electric fence."

Something like this is not only standard for my company, when people ask for my opinion I suggest the same approach. Phishing is out of hand and the more information you feed malicious intent the more it will be used against your company. If I refer a malicious email to an alternate contact method, it will collected for future use. "Hi I was working with LordMortis and he referred me to you for... invoice... banking data... confidential information... etc..." the idea is to move from phishing to spear phishing or whale phishing.

First things I could find

https://www.imperva.com/learn/applicati ... -phishing/

https://lonesysadmin.net/2019/02/03/out ... rity-risk/

The idea is if someone really has you as a contact, they know how to contact your company or you personally if they need to.

Man donated his mom's body who died of Alzheimer's to science for neurological testing finds out the place sold her body to the military for blast testing instead. Jesus.
“She was then supposedly strapped in a chair on some sort of an apparatus, and a detonation took place underneath her to basically get an idea of what the human body goes through when a vehicle is hit by an IED,” Stauffer said. “Every time I dream about my mom - I told you she was a quiet person - this person in my dream was angry.”

I don't know much here, but it is possible the company her body was donated to removed her brain and then sold the rest of her body to the military for their blast research? As horrific as that sounds, I'd like to believe the military used that information to better design solider protection, regardless.

Absolutely they can and do. You can't make money selling organs but the harvesters can. I don't understand why I can sell plasma and sperm but not blood. I even wrote a senator on this and I got a BS response. I guess I should feel lucky I got response. We had a thread about that too. We're getting old.

When it was brand new I used to watch it with the sound on, and even recorded videos sometimes. I especially liked a tape of weird videos hosted by Dr Demento. It soon became relegated to video wallpaper with the sound off. Ultimately it devolved into "reality" TV and stopped being even visually interesting. I honestly didn't know that it's still in business.

Just got one of the weirdest phone calls I've ever had.
It was from my wife's first husband. The one she told me died in Viet Nam around 1968.
He called to see if she still had a copy of their divorce papers. He was trying to get in the VA and they showed him still married to her. So he needed a copy to show them they're not.
She didn't have them anymore because I know all the papers of hers in the safe deposit box and our previous house burned down some 19 year ago.
How in the hell did he get our number? Of course she's had the same number for thirty years.
I am still flabbergasted.
I have learned on my own some ten years ago that almost every thing she has told me or tells me now are lies and she can't be trusted to tell the truth, but I've just adjusted to it.
When we first met she told me about this guy and how he got killed in Viet Nam and how she couldn't get his insurance because he left his mother as his beneficiary, and how she had a big fight with his mother.
She acts like she was stunned and can't remember but..................
Anyrate it doesn't matter anymore after all this time and besides, we got divorced five years ago ourselves.

Sometimes I cant tell one posting member from another around here.

EDIT: Info from the good news frost......my car AC may not be as busted as feared. Yesterday the compressor's clutch was just idle and not engaging. Thought the compressor was toast. Today it is engaging and disengaging. I hooked my gauge to it and it reads low under full load when the clutch spins. Thats good because it means the Freon or R-134 is low and the compressor itself is ok...for now. Ill see about getting some with oil in it if its not expensive. Awesome news.

I feel like the professor from Futurama.."Good news everybody!" :)
