Agreed. The descent into madness makes excellent programming.

Honestly, though, I like everything on their channel - as do my 10 and 13 year olds. The chefs all have such distinct personalities that it really makes for fun viewing.

The mid 1950s Westinghouse total electric home. In color. I think I posted this but cant find it.

Can have all that but Im sure it would cost a pretty penny..even today.

Some things that stand out to me.

Why does an all electric house need a charcoal grill?
The 6 second microwave. That thing must be powerful enough to launch a moon rocket.
That pre wired thing in the yard was a neat idea.

Google Earth solves 22 years old cold case of missing person from 1997. Sounds like drinking and driving.

Reminds me a lot of a local one where a lady had been missing since the 50s or so while out looking for a job. It was snowy and she had ran off the road and into the new lake behind a dam and sunk down onto the old road underneath the water. Didn't find her until the 90s or 2000s I think.

I can't stop listening to this. After the first few times I showed my son Eye in the Sky and we listened to the first few tracks. Then I read the Wikipedia article on Alan Parsons and saw he was the recording engineer on Dark Side of the Moon. So of course I listened to the full album. Then I went to bed and woke up and listened to this song again a few times. It's hard to describe how it makes me feel. Sad at being closer to the end of the journey but happy at the roads taken. The kind of song you want played at your funeral but in a happy way. I know that doesn't sell the song but whatever. Give it a listen.

Bryan Adams still has it. Sounds great.

REO Speedwagon no longer sound like they once did. He used to sing so well. But nice tribute anyways.
