I bought one of those "tactical vests" on clearance, and it is fully featured... pockets inside and out, plenty of places to attach MOLLE pouches, even a drink bladder pocket.

Except it doesn't fit me... Even when I let every measurement out.

But since the sides are basically... shoelaces (complete with aglets) I figure I can probably just replace them with longer versions, or even elastic ones.

But now I have to remove the lace and measure its size. ARGH. And who knew laces come in so many sizes and colors?

I'm at 8, but if you're below 5 (or over 15) you really need to tell us what you haven't (or have) done. :P

Five.

I haven't been ziplining, skydiving, or on a cruise. You'll have to guess the rest.

3.5? I've never technically been arrested although I was handcuffed and put in a holding cell (naked). I've also never zip-lined or been sky diving. I also don't think I've technically had a one-night stand that involved penetrative intercourse but I have given a one-night stand type BJ, so that's the half point.

WTF... The lace size is 88 inches... Most places don't even stock laces longer than 72 inches.

I did find a place that sells longer ones. They can go up to 120 inches. I'm debating what size to get. 108 inches ought to be enough.

3 for me. I'm fine with never getting arrested, getting a tattoo, or going skydiving...although I concede that any of the remaining three could happen at some point in the future.

Weird list though, as most of those things aren't really overly strange and/or that extreme of an activity.

Tell that to stess and Kasey.

Only one I can't reasonably check off at this point is skipping school. I suspect my wife would be pretty upset if I took the one night stand option at this point also.

I've thought about a tattoo but never decided there was something I wanted on me forever. Broke my nose a couple times, but no bones. Skydiving has been a thing I wanted to do. Arrested I don't feel like I am missing out on. Skinny dipping sounds unnecessary as do drugs.

Paracord -- or shock cord if you need elasticity -- would likely provide a cheaper and more durable option, along with plenty of colours to choose from. You could then cut it to exactly the lengths you require (and you can easily add your own aglets).

Can barely walk today. Yesterday I got out with the wheelbarrow and picked up all the old giant heavy bark thats fell off the giant dead tree. My legs are so sore its crazy. Back has been slipped out on the left side for weeks but stuff needs doing when the weather permits so there I was. Paying for it now. Hoping I lose some weight . Ill also be push mowing the yard myself again after 6 years of not. Its self propelled so the walking and stuff should help without killing me. My heart was hurting and beating hard and hard to breath...between being disabled, older, out of shape, and Im sure cloggy arteries Im lucky I dont fall dead. Guess Ill either be a little healthier this year or dead.

EDIT: And my left hand that 3 medical places said was not broken has hurt for a year now and has started popping and cracking bones in as I move it and use it. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Agreed, it's way more fun/horrifying to see how many you combined in one magical night. I'm up to 8 and got a few other at the 6-7 mark. Makes me wonder how I am still alive after so much living

New OTC meds
GlaxoSmithKline's Voltaren Arthritis Pain was originally approved as a prescription drug in 2007 to relieve pain for patients with osteoarthritis. The drug is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) in the same class as ibuprofen, although it's a topical formulation applied to achy joints. The drug will remain approved for osteoarthritis but not for strains, sprains, and bruises that other NSAIDs are used to treat.

Alcon persuaded the FDA to switch two eye-drop medications that treat itching and red eyes due to allergies. Patanol, which was originally approved in 1996, will now be called Pataday Twice Daily Relief, while Pataday, which was approved in 2004, will now be called Pataday Once Daily Relief. The drugs have the same active ingredient, the antihistamine olopatadine, but the once-a-day formation is a higher strength than the twice-daily formulation.
It's almost as if people are the problem.

That is all.

I have done this which is pretty close.
Oh, and I've also been lowered from a hovering helicopter onto the deck of a ship doing 14-17 knots.
I was invited to go skydiving with some friends but declined out of fear that I would enjoy it too much and I have enough expensive hobbies already, thankyouverymuch.

So, close enough to having done everything on that list.

You don’t “zip” using your hands. You’re typically strapped into a harness that then glides along the line.

I did this one in Haiti.

Today I used Waze for the first time since I got my new phone. Imagine my surprise when it insisted on trying to set me up as a carpool provider. After I successfully navigated my trip and got home, I tried to figure out how to turn that off. Turns out, you can't. I set all the participation options to Off, but that Carpool button is there on the main interface permanently. :x

I'd just burn the ends a little to seal it. Done that before. 25 ft of 3/16th shockcord in "OD Green" is 10.32 on Amazon. Looks like the right color too. I'm sure I can find some use for it. But then I have a ton of things I thought I have use for but never end up using them. I have a roll of soft sheet magnet, a roll of hook-n-loop, and two more vests. :) (A puffer vest and a larger tactical vest). From before that, I have a 5.11 range vest (pockets huge enough to fit HUGE maps, even full-sized keyboards) among other things.

What celebrities have you all met?
I met a popular children's show host when I lived in South Calif named Engineer Bill.
I also met Tina Louise and I used to ride bikes with Rob Walton.
Altho I didn't meet them I got to within six feet of President Nixon and VP Gerald Ford. Nixon stopped at our air base after a trip to the USSR and gave a speech.

I'm surprised at how many people haven't been on a zip line. And, given our general age and gender, how many have piercings.

I'm another sort of dull person. No drugs, tattoo, arrest, cruise, piercing, or 1 night stand. I don't know if I've met any celebrities; A couple of astronauts and a so so major league pitcher?

I've honestly lost track. Working security management in one of the larger (now the largest casino in northern Nevada, I dealt with a lot of people. I ran a contest with Ken Osmond (Eddie Haskell), met Sha Na Na that same weekend, provided security for Steppenwolf, Jean Claude VanDamme, and countless politicians, found a foreign dignitary dead, brought a pile of money to Dr. Dre, and so forth.

/edit - oh, and I had unpleasant dealings with some member of Santana's band, and engaged in fisticuffs with some professional snowboarder when I went to arrest him. I don't remember either of their names, though.

Ok, I'll come right out with a big one. Prince Charles, Princess Diana, William and Harry. There's a story to this. My Dad worked for our science centre for at least 15 years and was in charge of one of the departments, and as such he had some clout. In the 90's, I have to say maybe 94 or 97, the year of their big Canadian trip where they went to Niagara Falls. They were scheduled to come to our city and tour our science centre. He had arranged for my Brother and I to skip school that day, and we were placed at some of the exhibits to show them around. I remember specifically showing William & Harry one particular exhibit.

I guess you could say my family has a history with the Royal family. In 1984, when the science center was opening, the Queen was visiting Canada and was attending the opening ceremonies. My sister who was about 12 at the time, handed her a bouquet of flowers, something which had to be cleared ahead of time.

And if we go even further back, my Grandfather was an RCMP Officer, and he had been chosen to go to London and escort Prince Philip and the Queen back to Canada on another trip, which happened in the 60's, I believe.

I've met more celebs, but I'll stop now...
