Holy shjtballs! That show truly cements the notion of truth being stranger than fiction.

Just finished too. That’s one hell of a crazy story.

I wanted to feed every one of those horrid people to the poor tigers by the time it was done.

Wow... OK I just finished watching:

"Don't F**k with Cats" (Hunting an Internet Killer)

Holy Hell.

This is NOT for everyone, it's not really 'for' anyone....
It's a story about a horrific person, if you can handle it, it's an amazing story that makes Tiger King seem a little tame. (a little, not really).

Warning: While they NEVER show you anything graphic, they do sorta let you have glances at the beginning of VERY offensive videos that are at the heart of this story. While they handle it with the discretion you would basically expect, there is (for example) NO WAY my wife would even be able to handle what parts they do show.

Anyhow... If you are the type that can handle it, I would (I hesitate to use the word) recommend it, as it's an amazing story. Right up to the very end there are just more and more things about this person shown, and you will be left needing there to be someone else in your life that knows that this is a thing.

sigh... wow. it's just incredible really.

The conflict between Wendy and Marty, and the resulting crossfire that swept up everyone around them, was great. And including the always fantastic Tom Pelphrey was icing on the cake.

To say Tom's acting was impressive is a huge understatement. Really amazing and convincing portrayal of mental health.

The wife and I are only bummed it's over. The last 3 or 4 episodes were fantastic. Great cliffhanger as well.

Heh, ordered a pizza and watched the first 4 episodes tonight to see what the fuss was all about. And, yeah, there are a lot of crazy people involved in this. I sort of feel sorry for the TK - he made his own choices but he did some really stupid stuff, seems like he didn't have any legal or business sense, nor did he have the sense to get appropriate legal and/or business advice.
Spoiler:
The copyright lawsuit is what set him on his downward spiral. His basically using the other preserve's logo was just plain stupid and spiteful on his part. And his subsequent legal maneuvering to protect his assets again was just plain stupid, and caused as many problems as he hoped to solve, screwing his parents in the process. And getting a business partner without actually vetting his bona-fides was another stupid decision. And then there's using the zoo to fund his political "campaign" was another dumb thing. He made the wrong decision at every fork in the road along the way. He just lacked good judgement, it's a wonder he lasted as long as he did.

I watched about 30 minutes of TK and I couldn't handle the animal abuse and exploitation. Kind of shocked it's as popular as it is. Fuck that guy and everyone involved in it.

One can watch it without endorsing the animal abuse and exploitation, you know. I understand if you can't but understand that others can, just as we can watch crime shows about murders and rapists, without endorsing or approving of them.

Movies and documentaries about serial killers and rapists make a ton of money. That doesn't mean the vast majority of those buying tickets are endorsing such behavior.

And if you're saying those who bought tickets to see the animals in Joe's park believed they were endorsing animal cruelty, I would say no. They made it pretty clear that Joe and his kind keep the seedy side of things out of the light of day. That's why exposing such cruelty through documentaries like TK (even if it's a by product of just wanting to see bat shit insane people in their natural environments) is a good thing.

Ive recommended this once before but since you're all stuck at home what better time to re promote it :)

Its Galavant. A medieval comedy musical. Dont let that throw you off...its amazingly good. Its on Netflix too. Just try it really. The premise sounds too nutty but it really works well.

We watched the first episode a couple of weeks ago and I also didn't see why it was popular and it has nothing to do with animal abuse and exploitation, it just didn't seem that interesting. After we finished up season 3 of Ozark (Holy hell!) we watched the second episode of Tiger King and now I am wondering if I am watching the same show as some people here based on their reactions. I can only guess maybe the rest of you didn't grow up with rednecks.

Finished Season Two of Altered Carbon. Awesome. My kids would say that I am deep into the Poe/Kovacs ship. Adorable.

I can't say enough good things about Galavant. It is a fantastic show, and a nice break from the gritty bleakness that seems to dominate lately.

Galavant is hysterical. Lyrics to the songs go by quick, so you gotta be paying attention, but DAMN its funny.

Yup, many of us sung the praises of Galavant when it first premiered. It's an oddity in the world of tv in that it takes so many parts that usually don't work together...and it puts them together perfectly. I need to rewatch it again. Heck, I'm chuckling remembering the song and number routine for "Off With His Shirt".
Spoiler:

In other news, I watched Ghoul, a 3 part horror show that probably should have just been a two hour movie instead of 3 45 minute episodes. Still, I enjoyed it a great deal. It's like The Thing meets Homecoming the series.
