As funny as it is, I really hate the normalization of dishonest editing. It's a very bad road to go.

Sure, this one is too obvious to mistake for real, but the next will be less so. If nothing else, it affirms to right-wing ratfuckers that these tools are on the table. It makes it harder for us to call it out when they do it.

I have no illusions that the Lincoln Project are anything other than parasites, attacking their former compatriots and that they're going to turn on a dime if Biden is elected. However, right now - right in this moment - it's fantastic to see them using their party's own shitty tactics against their former buddies. After the election? I know full well they're no good.

My big take away from that video is that I really, really wish the ticket had been flipped, and she wasn't even my top choice.

I want my money back. I'm sorry I ever donated to the Lincoln Project. From where I sit, they've totally lost their way. All they are doing now is preaching to the choir. What happened to the really on point messages to Republicans who supported Trump and should have known better?

She's been my top choice since the get-go. If she swings for the presidency next term I may just find myself finally volunteering for a politician.

I don't actually know any of her policies. Policy isn't how I decide who to vote for. I go for quality of character. Buttigieg has it too, but I prefer her hard-assness when dealing with the opposition.

Actually Buttigieg was my first choice for President, Harris was my second. However when I see her in videos or on TV standing next to Biden and they are both speaking, for me at least, it brings in to stark contrast how old Biden is and not quite as energetic or simply not quite as on his game as she always seems to be.

She was not in my top 3 in the primary but I will say that she does seem to have it when she sits with Biden. She gives me a lot more confidence in her ability to lead, to be a decision maker, to the voice of the people and the states and the US when she sits with Biden, like it should be her, even as my faith in Biden's ability actually has been growing throughout the general.

I'm glad for this. VPs don't usually get the exposure she's getting as a candidate and she's not just nailing the interview to be VP but the interview of what the VP might have to do if called and the interview question, "where do you see yourself in four years with this company?"

I thought their early ads aimed at moderates and GOP enablers were really effective. Their recent stuff, not so much. Glad it gave you a laugh.

I liked their ads. I would have never given them money. Then again, I don't give money to any politician or politically affiliated group.

I'm perfectly happy with my $50 donation. The fits of apoplexy that some of the ads have caused in Trump are worth every penny. And Mourning in America is still one of the best political ads I've seen aimed at former Reagan Republicans.

While I've pretty much disowned the Republican party for the foreseeable future, I'm all for encouraging those in the party to fight against what it has turned into. I'd love to go back to the days when our biggest policy differences were around tax rates. Not like today in which I have to fight someone over whether science is real or whether or not Democrats run a secret underground sex trafficking ring out of a pizza shop.
