Republican majority of the Pennsylvania State Senate just removed @JohnFetterman from the chamber. President Pro Temp Corman is presiding instead. Fetterman refused to recognize a motion that would have prevented a duly elected Democratic senator from being sworn in.

Ya tomorrow is going to be super fun. Apparently we're just full on nuke the system mode now. I would hope they will get a savage beating for doing this, but I'm sure nothing will happen.

I mean, that would be the cautious approach.
He kept mentioning the number in context of the numbers for A, B, C, & D, though. So like A gets him 52,000. B gets him 150k. And the Georgia officials would come back and say his numbers are wrong. And his people would say "So you say, let us have access to the files you have so we can see for ourselves." And Georgia would say they were not legally allowed to do so. And Trump would say "we only need 11,800 - any of these instances nets us more than that. Pick one and well get more than that. All we need is for you to find more than 11,800." Which sounds bad out of context, but in reading his ramblings, it wasn't obviously asking for fraud.

If these are exit polls, they are probably (at least at this point) just from people voting in person today. I would suspect that would heavily skew towards the GOP candidates.

Maybe it's local news exit polling, since Daehawk is just over the border in Chattanooga, right? But I don't know why the numbers add up to below 50%.

I think the current state of play is that the state Senate is conducting its own review of a later challenge by the opponent (who says mail-in ballots shouldn't be valid without a written date on them, something something). If the senate rules against Brewster, I believe he can challenge THAT in the state Supreme Court (which will rule in his favor as it did before).

Where are you getting that? Georgia hasn't reported any results yet, as most of the polls are open until 7pm.
Whoops that was November. The local station has reporters at the sites and one was saying 47% for the crazy woman and when I saw the other post I copied it without looking at the date.
Maybe the reporter was going by after voting polls or interviews.

Kelly Loeffler were backing President Donald Trump's attempt to overturn November's presidential election. But he says it didn't affect his vote. He says he's backing Republicans because he doesn't want Democrats to have full control of the government.

Fulton County apparently had ~450,000 people vote this time around, which is pretty good for a runoff but well shy of the 528,000 people that voted in November.
Given that this race is going to be all about turnout, I hope that's not a bad sign for the Dems.

I read that these numbers are skewed somewhat due to early voting which is thought to have favored Democrats. Potential reverse of the Biden "Blue Wave" last November. Hope not.

CNN's political director David Chalian explained that 94% of the vote that we are seeing so far is from the early vote. He also reminded viewers that early voting tends to favor Democrats, and is subject to change as more results roll in.
Early voting, Chalian explained, includes both early in-person voting and absentee mail-voting, both of which are “happening a lot more because of the pandemic.”
President Trump has been an outspoken critic of absentee ballots, and that may have pushed some Republicans to vote in person instead. “That depressed Republicans from using that method of voting,” Chalian said.
Meanwhile, “we see more Democrats voting early, voting by mail, and right now that’s making up the bulk of the vote in Georgia. That’s why you see that inflated lead for Democrats,” Chalian explained.
But as the night goes on, this lead could shift in the GOP's favor. “Election day results tend to favor Republicans," Chalian said. As a result, he concluded, “we’ll see the race get a lot closer."
