Yeah, I saw the video. She was trying to climb through a broken window in a Capitol hallway. Don't know the area she was trying to get into, but I don't think she should have been shot. But outnumbered law enforcement may have been fearful that she was just the first of many trying to come through. Still, she shouldn't have been shot, just grab her as she came through and cuff her. But of course if "she just followed orders, she wouldn't have been shot", I say sarcastically. It's so sad she died for her false messiah.

She was a 14 year vet that served 4 tours with the US air force. What do you think her intentions were when she was crawling through a broken window into a secured room of our Capitol? Getting shot is exactly what I would expect to happen and I can't imagine she was ignorant to the seriousness of her transgression.

I know but at this point we need to make it clear that there are serious consequences for this madness. What is it going to take before our leaders take this civil disturbance seriously? I have long thought this day would come but never thought we'd just go on to essentially go back to the same dangerous behaviors hours after the Capitol was stormed by seditionists. Resign?” one nervous White House staffer asked a friend on Wednesday afternoon, shortly after news broke that a woman had been shot and killed inside the Capitol. The West Wing staffer told the friend that White House Counsel Pat Cipollone was urging White House officials not to speak to Trump or enable his coup attempt in any way, so they could reduce the chance they could be prosecuted for treason under the Sedition Act. “They’re being told to stay away from Trump,” the friend said. Cipollone’s purported concern that Trump was committing treason––a federal crime––illustrates the chaos and fear of Wednesday’s unprecedented events. I'll tell you this: I don't want to hear Biden talk about coming together and healing wounds for at least...maybe forever. I hope his inauguration speechwriters tore up their draft to start over. Insurrections must have consequences.

I was there before today but hardened now. I'll write Biden off completely if he gladhandles these fools. You can't win them over. He needs to be tough as nails at this point. This is not the time to fuck around.
