Im not finding a definitive answer. Can EBT be used to order food off Amazon? If so how is shipping fees handled?

Re: Random randomness
Yes. Here is Amazon's FAQ. The section on shipping:
Shipping
Can I use SNAP EBT funds to pay for shipping or delivery?
No. USDA requirements prohibit using your SNAP EBT funds to cover shipping or delivery fees. However, it’s possible to earn free shipping by adding enough qualifying items to your order.
If I place an order without using my SNAP EBT card, can I still get free shipping (provided I meet the minimum order size for free shipping)?
Yes. You can order from Amazon without using your SNAP EBT card and still receive free shipping if you spend the minimum amount to qualify for free shipping.
What if I don’t meet the free shipping minimum? Can I still buy my items?
Yes. You can still buy your items but you will be charged a shipping fee.
Do non-SNAP eligible items help me qualify for free shipping?
Yes, both SNAP-eligible and non-SNAP eligible items in your cart will count toward the free shipping minimum regardless of payment method or SNAP eligibility. Please note that free shipping is calculated separately for Amazon Fresh and Amazon Grocery.

Caligula’s Garden of Delights, Unearthed and Restored
The fourth of the 12 Caesars, Caligula — officially, Gaius Julius Caesar Germanicus — was a capricious, combustible first-century populist remembered, perhaps unfairly, as the empire’s most tyrannical ruler. As reported by Suetonius, the Michael Wolff of ancient Rome, he never forgot a slight, slept only a few hours a night and married several times, lastly to a woman named Milonia.
During the four years that Caligula occupied the Roman throne, his favorite hideaway was an imperial pleasure garden called Horti Lamiani, the Mar-a-Lago of its day. The vast residential compound spread out on the Esquiline Hill, one of the seven hills on which the city was originally built, in the area around the current Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II.

1. Again with the buttermilk rant. I grabbed a cheap bottle yesterday and regret it yet again. 2nd worst buttermilk Ive ever had. Tastes like Im drinking milk tainted with baking soda. So many cheap filler ingredients in it...guar gum, tapioca starch. Ugh. I wish I could get real old natural buttermilk or something at least as good as the 70s. Thats my cutoff if I had a choice. Yes I know online sells it. But its waaaay too expensive.
2. Its a freezing fog tonight out. I had to walk my dog in a slight fog. Thanks to the 1980 movie The Fog....real fog at night in the dark gives me the willies...the creeps. Im not scared of it but it does feel eerie. Not once since I saw that dang movie as a kid have I not thought back to it every single fog. Every one. Brrz..gives me shivers and not because its cold.

Maine is more than lobster rolls. The best sandwich I've had in this state was at Clayton's Cafe in Yarmouth, ME (easily accessible by 295 if you're heading North). It was a concoction of Thai flavors on sourdough and so good. Clayton's has been visited by more than one celebrity passing through the area, and for good reason. They've got great soups and a home made peanut butter bar that will close your arteries after two bites, but you'll still want to finish it.Daehawk wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 1:43 pm The best sandwich in every state?...Let us know your thoughts on this people.

A close second is the East Boothbay General Store in East Boothbay, ME. That place has awesome breakfast pizza and sandwiches as well. You've got to be interested in visiting Boothbay to hit this place as it's out of the way - but East Boothbay looks and feels like the authentic coastal village people come to Maine to experience.
I've had the privilege of working within walking distance of both for lunch.

I only know the area around me so cant say how the rest of the state is. For me and a sandwich....not a burger.....it would be a small town place called Stadium BBQ. Its a sports / Vols themed joint. Have 2 locations there. The best pork sandwich Ive ever had. Comes dry but not dried out and they make their own in house sauce. With or without it is great. So tender it melts. Not super smoky like trying to eat a tree but just enough that its there.Daehawk wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 1:43 pm The best sandwich in every state?...Let us know your thoughts on this people.

Re: Random randomness
I've had the Frenchie at Don & Millie's (the Nebraska entry).
It's pretty good but I dunno if I'd rate it the best in Nebraska.
I pretty much go to Don & Millie's (there's one just a couple blocks from our house) for the Double Don.
The DD is a big, fat, cholesterol- dripping monstrosity of a burger (not Heart Attack Grill or anything like that) that is a very rare, like twice a year, treat.
Oh, and during the summer they do a local car show every Friday which I like to attend.

The Georgia entry is some sort of over-elaborate chicken/cheese/egg/bacon extravagance rather than a legitimate BBQ or Po-boy?
I'm pretty sure Alabama cuisine isn't best known for turkey.
The Mississippi entry is a Po-boy, so OK.
Call me an Ann Arbor snob, but the Michigan entry doesn't mention Zingerman's. I call bullshit.
The notion that the best sandwich in Pennsylvania (let alone Philadelphia) is some kind of south-Philly roast pork thing is just... no.

The PA sandwich has to be either a cheesesteak or a Primanti Bro. sandwich from Pittsburgh. I have a fondness for a good hoagie or meatball sub too but cheesesteak and Primanti Bro. are the icons. That roast pork thing they describe is more of a NJ sandwich.
I can almost excuse the GA biscuit thing. They decided to eliminate BBQ from their lists. Georgia isn't known for it's BBQ style but a pulled pork sandwich would have made more sense. I suppose it wouldn't work but the state sandwich is clearly Chick-fil-A (even if it is divisive and not that great).

You know how reservations can have casinos and how maritime law extends like 200 miles and such ans space is unregulated. When the day comes where space elevators are common.....how would the laws cover a casino in orbit at the top of a space elevator? Hmmm.

Anyone remember Jack Nicholson in a 1994 movie named Wolf? It was a kinda silly movie but to this day I remember him looking like Wolverine in it. At the time I thought he would make the best Wolverine if only he was 20 years younger. Now he is way too old. But with that look and Jack's style I could easily have seen him with a cigar in his mouth spouting cutdowns.

https://ew.com/tv/dustin-diamond-stage-4-cancer-chemo/
A rep for the actor says Diamond, 44, will release a statement when a formal diagnosis has been made, but calls the cancer diagnosis "serious" and confirms it is stage four. As testing continues, the actor remains at the hospital and will continue to be there "for awhile."He further explains that Diamond is feeling "fine" today though he was not doing so great when he was admitted to the hospital. "He was fading in and out, feeling sleepy and tired. On top of all this he also has shingles, so he's been in a lot of pain." Another rep for the actor told EW that Diamond's medical problems began with "a huge lump on his throat."
