I know. But there's just something about the way we (including even women) sexualize/physicalize female public figures that's kind of retrograde.

This is something that pissed me and others off in my town. This is normally a bank. But it was also an early voting spot during last years early voting for President. As you can see it was set up as a huge Trump shop for a couple weeks before the election. It didn't close until the night before early voting. I dont see how that is even remotely legal. But this IS TN.

Yup. The blue lives flag first appeared around here after a local officer was killed in the line of duty. It was an expression of sympathy and support after a tragic incident.

Emanuel “Manny” Lopes hit Officer Michael Chesna with a rock on Sunday morning, knocking the 42-year-old father of two to the ground. Lopes then allegedly used Chesna’s gun to shoot the officer multiple times in the head, torso, and legs, before fleeing on foot from law enforcement arriving at the scene. According to authorities, he fired several additional gunshots as he was chased through a Weymouth neighborhood by law enforcement, fatally striking 77-year-old Vera Adams in her home.

It's a sad story and the flag was widely flown to honor his memory. Like I said, it's a shame it was corrupted. We had a kerfuffle recently when a local police department was pressured into removing the flag decal from their vehicles (for obvious reasons).
