The OOer Streaming/YouTube Channel Thread

Post by Brian »

I'm sure that more than a few of us have YouTube or Twitch Streaming Channels

This can be similar to the YouTube thread over in EBG but specifically for gaming.
Let's see all of your boardgame/gameplay/funny game videos.

I'll start off.

First, this is the link to my YouTube Channel directly.
Don't worry about ads as I'm not monetizing my channel (You have to have over 1000 subscribers for that and last I looked I was at 12. A third of them are bots, I'm sure.)

Since we've been playing a lot of Red Dead Online lately, here are a few highlights:

I also have lots of GTA5 videos as well as some full map playthroughs of World War Z

You'll hear other OOers in a lot of my videos. Most notably, Karen (AKA BadDemographic) and her husband Bob, as well as Blackhawk, and most recently, my wife (AKA Crazy Lady).

And here is my channel, mostly the same stuff as Brian's - videos of funny moments we've had playing as a group over the last (almost) four years. (!)

I've thought about organizing them into playlists.

I have a YT channel but it's for board games not video games so not mentioned here. One day I will commit to a Twitch channel for factory style games once I get decent at at least one of them :).

I'd say go ahead and link your channel and videos.
I'll update my original post to include boardgames.

You know, after four years, I just realized that I never subscribed to Brian's channel. Rectified. Unfortunately, Brian, I am just another bot.

I am sad to say that it appears I did not actually save the clip in RDO of me booting a guy off a cliff and shooting him on the way down.

Sucks at it was probably one of my most awesome gaming moments.

You can watch me drive a Lamborghini, complete a Spartan race, suck at PUBG and watch a complete play-through of XCOM2 without commentary. Nothing posted recently.

What a coincidence. There's also a video of me driving a Lamborghini Gallardo on my channel as well.
Mine wasn't an open top though.

I imagine my tombstone read "It said he was SEDATED!!!"

Also, if you go back to the beginning of the video, I predicted EXACTLY what was going to happen. :)

Pretty sure this guy is a cheater/hacker since he took zero damage even with two people shooting at him.

A quick compilation from recent gameplay including:
1. Problem solving with dynamite plus making somebody's head asplode
2. Teleporting horse travel
3. Sudden incoming hostile player
4. VT_Jen being very nearly obliterated by a lightning strike

Another quick Red Dead Online montage. Unfortunately, my mic was off (Thank you GeForce for changing my settings every time you update) so none of my dialog is available.

So here's what to expect:

1. Invisible Bounty
2. The Goods Were What Now?
3. I'm Just Tryna Cross The Bridge
4. Dude, seriously?
5. Suddenly, Greybird!

Usually there are two kinds of cliffs in Red Dead: those your horse can traverse just fine by sliding down on his ass, and those that are too steep, causing him to stop automatically at the top. #5 was me discovering the third type, the kind that catapults you and your horse face-first into the road.

/edit - looks like YouTube reduced their default resolution for embedded videos, so make sure you turn it up on each one (or click the title to watch it on YouTube.)

These are a bunch of videos from Red Dead Online (and one from the single player.) They go all the way back to when we started playing.

This was from tonight. Brian mistakes another player's actions for an attack on us. Charred legs ensue.

This was a month or two ago. We were doing a delivery for either Brian or BadDemographic and their wagon just... died. Looking at it I still don't know what happened.

Surrounded by the law, horse getting spooked... try to anticipate exactly how I'll die.

This should exonerate me a bit. We're on a bounty run, and need to bring the Wolf Man in alive. I get ready to rope him, Brian rides by and, from my perspective, runs into him just as I try to rope him (it turned out that Brian also roped the target, which made the Wolf Man an ineligible target for roping.) It goes wrong. Then Brian shoots him. A bear runs away. Confusion reigns.

This one was one of our earliest games. I tried to access the bounty board. I did so poorly.

This is a compilation of smaller moments that don't require much of a description.

What doesn't kill me makes me stranger.

For recording, I just use the Geforce Experience software and then edit it using Microsoft Photo editor.

I can get a bit more detailed if you like but those are the basics.

I got it to work, but it kept recording while I was messing with setting, the MS photo edit didn't save. I went in to crop it with You Tube editor. Edit: It worked!

A couple games of GarticPhone. I forgot to start recording so missed the first couple minutes.
I also don't know if I should keep the drawing phase or just show the end results.

On the puzzle solution I did above I was the first and most concise to post. It now has over 11K views, 177 likes and 25 comments, all positive. Seems like people respond to short and simple.
