It's numerology, which people take seriously. Letters are assigned numbers, which are reduced to single digits. Words with matching numbers as thought to be connected. Which is bullshit anyway.

I love his impression because he doesn't veer off into cartoonishness like many Trump impressions do. He even gets the growl and low registers that many Trump impressions omit. Pretty amazing, can't wait to see him on SNL.

I want to believe it can/will happen, but I'm skeptical. Since Twitter unveiled the ability to report COVID-19 misinformation about a month ago, I've been reporting about 10 posts a day on average. I have yet to see anything change, but I need to believe I'm doing something good.

Great ad but it's concerning that, although the message is unity, it's still unity of us vs. them. When the inspirational tale is a "battle" and the highlight is a shot fired, I'm even more certain that we'll see some unsettling armed conflicts between civilians before all this is over.

I do think the message that "Americans are not at war with each other" isn't being distributed enough. We may be tightly opposed at the ballot box, but day-to-day life? It's not nearly as dire as the media and social media make it out to be.

This. Maybe a "Ben Sasse lite" outlook, but IMO his is a bit TOO naive ("your neighbor hates you and calls you a "dirty faggot" because you're gay? Go over and bring him cookies, and offer to sweep his driveway! Just that will fix 95% of our problems!")

I'm not even close to chunking molotov cocktails over my back fence into my QAnon flag-waving neighbor's yard. As disappointed as I am in his political (and societal, as a result) choices and beliefs, I am more upset by his damned loud music playing when I just want to relax and enjoy some quiet nature in my back yard. He has ruined MANY a great song for me!

I have a constant internal battle about this guy because before Trump, we got along fine, and chatted often at the fence (to the point of borrowing tools, etc) about our kids, the schools, just shit in general (but he was always very careful to avoid almost all political talk).

That I feel I SHOULD be "punishing" him somehow for his damned ignorant beliefs has only lead to me ignoring him completely, and pretty obviously.

It's certainly not going to improve anything, but I just couldn't stand continuing to chat idly with him as his Q flag billows in the background. THAT'LL show 'em!

Though urban dictionary says
