I don't think it was ever an insult to him. It's asinine high school shit. It is a huge rallying cry to those who use it and they will just promote the idea that he's too dumb to get it and that the caller "owned" him.

You can't really win with shit like that and he did the right thing by blowing it off. But it didn't lose any power.

FWIW I did look for a better clip because I didn't like how it was cut either. However the context doesn't make it much better IMO. Even without the cut it really is pretty arrogant. Worse the context indicates a lack of understanding that the reverse is happening. That is sort of what I was getting at in the other thread. People were out there organizing through out 2021 and begging Biden to come along and make it a priority. Then his agenda collapsed and he and Senate leaders all pivoted on a dime and just stomped in without a plan for success.
