This is going to be either absolutely terrible or cheesy fun.

Or both.

There's a Displacer Beast in another teaser I've seen.

If there's also a Beholder, I might see it.

Little B 13.5 about jumped out of her chair when they showed the Owlbeast and the Mimic.

The dragon looks…not great though.

I am so all over this. I'll be fine as long as it isn't like, political or something (I have no reason to think it would be, just trying to think of anything that would tank it) ... Short of that - I will be all over it.

Just realized I posted the title announcement only, and not the full trailer. My bad.

OK I am here for this.

You get 100xp each if you spotted the Displacer Beast, Black (presumably) Dragon, Owlbear, Mimic, and Gelatinous Cube.

I'm going to assume there's also a Beholder but they're saving it for the big reveal.

There's also clearly an Underdark scene. Might that pale, bald warrior (back to back with the Paladin at 1:35) be a version of Drizzt?

Gotta be better than the first attempt, right??

Also, the title reminds me of the Dungeon Siege movies for some reason. I rewatched those recently and they were surprisingly not as bad as I had remembered, and kind of endearing.

Looks like the crammed everything in there but a rust monster.
It looks stupid, chock full of fan service, and fun. Count me in.

I had to pause it in order for the twins to see the Cube. They caught everything else though.

Both the Mimic and the Owlbear looked awesome. And the Druid was a dead ringer for a live action Keyleth.

It looked fun. I'll watch it for the eye candy, but I'll admit that I was hoping that they'd treat it at least a little less like a comedy this time. Not Game of Thrones serious, but not cheesy action/comedy, either.

I disagree.
I loved the breath attack of the black dragon in those shots.
I just kinda hope they give the dragons a little more personality and they aren't just monsters on the battlefield.

I never saw any of the original Fletch movies with Chevy Chase but I like Jon Hamm and this looks fun.
In this delightful comedy romp, Jon Hamm stars as the roguishly charming and endlessly troublesome Fletch, who becomes the prime suspect in a murder case while searching for a stolen art collection. The only way to prove his innocence? Find out which of the long list of suspects is the culprit - from the eccentric art dealer and a missing playboy to a crazy neighbor and Fletch’s Italian girlfriend. Crime, in fact, has never been this disorganized.
Featuring: Jon Hamm, Roy Wood Jr., Annie Mumolo, Ayden Mayeri, Lorenzo Izzo, Kyle MacLachlan, Marcia Gay Harden

That actually looks really good. They even managed to use the same font as the original movies, I think.

He does seem to be doing a low-key Chevy Chase as Fletch impersonation - not sure if that'll work the for the whole movie. The original movie was great. The second movie . . . not so much.

FWIW, the font is the same from the books on which Fletch is based (at least the paperback versions I've seen).
