Watched this last night with the wife.
We both enjoyed it for what it was, which was more or less what we expected.
Some decent kills. Some punny dialogue.
And Snoop!

Pfft, that was settled years ago. Howard Hughes picked up the the whole ship with the Spruce Goose.
And then it got hijacked by a Cargo Cult!
That’s too bad. It was a silly show but we really need more shows with scenes of Lance Riddick in an Olive Garden for the first time.Isgrimnur wrote: ↑Fri Aug 26, 2022 5:52 pm Deadline: ‘Resident Evil’ Series Canceled By Netflix After One Season
Oh, It was pretty clear alright, given who we see last. I just didn't like the way the conclusion was written.
Going to miss scenes like this one?$iljanus wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 9:19 amThat’s too bad. I certainly am! I like the whole post apocalyptic grimdark theme and all but I also appreciate good old silliness. And when you mix the two together...Victoria Raverna wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 1:55 amGoing to miss scenes like this one?$iljanus wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 9:19 amThat’s too bad. It’s like they read my mind and came up with the perfect way to make me NOT watch something.
I’m surprised I’m actually enjoying this. I think it all comes down to the actors and the writers taking the time to establish the important relationships in the story. As mentioned elsewhere, it’s a paper thin story. But it’s a surprisingly well done paper thin story Even if some of the larger battles are pretty ridiculous.
Yap. I burned through all of the seasons pretty quickly.
Does it cover his time in Ohio growing up?YellowKing wrote: ↑Thu Sep 22, 2022 8:47 am I'm 3 episodes into MONSTER: THE JEFFREY DAHMER STORY on Netflix, and it's been absolutely riveting so far.
I've always been a huge Evan Peters fan from his work on American Horror Story, and he's brilliantly creepy here as Dahmer. There's also a stellar performance by the great Richard Jenkins as Dahmer's dad.
It's often very hard to watch, as it never shies away from depicting Dahmer's depravity. But this is offset by the tremendous performances and narrative style, which deftly switches back and forth between Dahmer's early years and the peak of his killing.
Yes, it's narrated by Adar.hepcat wrote: ↑Thu Sep 22, 2022 3:01 pmDoes it cover his time in Ohio growing up?YellowKing wrote: ↑Thu Sep 22, 2022 8:47 am I'm 3 episodes into MONSTER: THE JEFFREY DAHMER STORY on Netflix, and it's been absolutely riveting so far.
