I've pretty much only played normal Battle Royale thus far, since it felt a bit like cheating to cut out the build part of the game. But the whole "throw up a building when you start getting shot at" thing is starting to bother me.
That first wall isn't really hard to learn - it's the tower race that's annoying imo. And I don't care if Zero Build loses that part of the game - if it's more fun, it's more fun.

Yes, that order is right.

As for your slot requirements, forcing choices creates strategy. Letting everyone carry everything makes it less dynamic. I'd also ask why you need to carry both health and shield. How many times have you been in a fight where you've lived long enough to need the health? And in those times, how hard is it really to run around and just find some? I only carry shield - generally if they get into my health, I'm either dead or if I win, refilling my shield buys me enough time to find the health replacement I need (like if I get lucky with Bush Warrior).

Oh, the best part of Zero Build is you get a 50 pt shield on top of your standard shield and that 50 pts automatically regenerates after so many seconds of not taking damage. It's amazing how much that little change effects the game.

I only play zero build. No way I can compete with the building skills of the younger folk. My son builds so quickly, it boggles my mind. I have enough problems switching my weapons efficiently. :D

5 more levels (putting me at 101) and I'll have acquired everything from the Battlepass as well as the first mid-season skin (that you get for going up 10 levels). After buying the pass using the free V-bucks from previous season, I was able to get another 1450 V-bucks from the pass itself. Nice.

I have like 800 vbucks. I need 950 to buy battlepass....from there I think I can keep it going on game money / stars. But getting there is annoying. I have 250 battlestars. It let me but 100 vbucks for 5 stars....but thats it. The other vbucks are all greyed out.

I'm not a fan of the balloons. I do like the one that let's you deploy your glider. I'll take big jumps off the castle / tower walls and land gently avoiding fall damage. The augments in general are more fun than I thought they'd be.

Make sure you try to get Aerialist (the one that lets you deploy your glider). A more veteran player won't try to shoot you, they'll try to shoot your balloons and you'll plummet to your death elimination. Alternatively, now that the hammer is back, have a hammer on hand so you can bounce rather than splat.

One of my favorite Fortnite memories is successfully one-shotting someone who was floating by on a balloon with a single sniper shot to the head. Good times.

I wish they would hurry and ad some quests with rewards like items. Harvesting tools, gliders, skins, backpacks,,,,something. I dont give a crap for exp rewards. I want cosmetics , Lots of them. I want to customize my character. I want quests I cant do in game while trying to survive other players hahaha. Thats the fun I get. Yet theres nothing since like Nov or so. Im becoming bored just logging into to shoot players and make to the end for nothing. I still cant nab a season pass yet from V-bucks I get from BattleStars. I have like 800 v-bucks, Need 950 now for pass. Nothing to buy with my stars. I have like 240 of them.

This is my first time with the pass and it looks like I can get all the rewards by getting up to Level 200 (you can buy all the original rewards by getting to level 100 and then all the midseason drops by getting another 100 levels). That doesn't include whatever is going to drop for The Witcher.

Just thought you could use the info for future planning purposes. It looks like very little drops during the season for completing quests - but completing all the quests does help you level significantly faster. The first four hours I play each week I am usually able to complete all the quests and use up all my bonus XP and I get about 10 levels. The next 8 or so hours I play I only get about 3 - without the extra XP, leveling takes forever even if you make it to the end of matches.

Last year I was able to get all the items from the quests for the ...what was it...phased stuff...the reflective area stuff in the map...glider, axe, backpack and such. I jus tdid the quests for a couple weeks. Was fun doing as I enjoyed dodging, avoiding or killing other players while trying to ring doorbells or destroy halloween decorations and such. Got killed some too..its a little annoying to be doing quests and dying like that but all in fun. Just respawn and drop into the last area you were.

I am, mainly for the extra XP. The banner images don't do much for me. Otherwise, I'm pretty much caught up on all quest options. Oathblood, Witcher, and almost all Weekly quests are finished. I log on to get my dailies done, and make some progress on the SoL. I've got 2 quests left on Path 1 I think.

Yeah, lots of new stuff today. I got the medallion (and lots of XP) from doing the Most Wanted quests. Looks like a new batch of them hit on Thursday?

I also did enough of the new Weekly quests to get that bonus/wrapper XP. And the dailies. So that was all good.

I'm not a big fan of the skins in this season's battle pass (I do like the Doom armor one though). However - I very much like the bonus styles (the tinted/starry wraps) so I'm hoping to get some/most/all of them in the next few weeks.

Wow the School of Llama roadblock worlds are bad. I finished the second week Aard one where you have to collect 250 coins. They are just big time sinks with no fun involved - no idea what they are thinking pushing those on us.

Im still working on killing a sub boss and getting a keycard in that new quest line. I either getting killed by a player when Im so close or by one of the npcs that come to help the boss while Im fighting off a player. I thought I had everyone gone and had the boss down and as I was finishing her a player came out of of nowhere and killed me then finished the boss and all I could do was watch them loot the vault themselves.

The Llama roadblocks are pretty pointless. My son offered to do the 250 coin one for me. :D I didn't find the others to be that bad.

I've almost cleared every Most Wanted quest so far. I think I need some more damage when hiding inside a bush. I haven't cleared the weekly quest with the rocket launcher. But almost everything else is finished. More quests (and Llama quests) unlock Monday.

I'm at level 197. Three more to get that last skin variant. Then on to the next season.

May reinstall for the new season. I got tired of dying to ridiculous shots and stuff and deleted. Some guy or guys dressed as Batman and such with capes are just beyond normal good or something. I was catching them off guard and still being killed by them...they bounce around like a rabbit and have perfect aim. Also always have a gold gun.

Same. Finishing the School of Llama as well.
