I can't find any reference to it, and it's the kind of thing that certain outlets would make their leading story.

Maybe there's a deepfake?

Oh, I'm sorry I wasn't clear. The *movie* has a scene where Will is getting drilled. It's fairly explicit as far as gay sex goes in movies.

My apologies.

Got a letter from DHS today and an application for renewing my SNAP EBT benefits. It clearly states Im to return this application form in the provided envelope in this letter they sent me. But there is NO return self addressed envelope in there. SO now I have no idea where to address and send this and my phone interview is scheduled for Dec 3.

I called the help number they have listed. Fell asleep on hold and woke an hour later and was still on hold. Called my local office and get to a recording after a big menu msg only to be told sorry no one available. I called repeatedly 15 minutes.

Stupid fucking government places and their workers. How do they expect to ever get anything done if they fail at the simplest part on their end of providing a envelope then have no way to contact them!!??????????

Seems like it may be simpler and easier by taking the initiative to apply for and manage your benefits online, which you should be able to do by setting up an account here.

FWIW, I found that site by simply typing "Tennessee SNAP EBT program" into a search engine, and visiting the first result, which takes you here. From there, the "Apply for SNAP Benefits and Upload Documents Here" button takes you to the site above.

Shall we talk about the budget that they're forced to scrape by on that has them overworked and understaffed? 90% of the time when you have trouble dealing with employees of a company/organization, your trouble isn't caused by the employees, and blaming them is misplaced (just like yelling at them is cruel when they don't have any more options than you do.)

I -always- mention my displeasure in circumstances like that, but I'm also very clear, like -very clear-, that I am not upset with them at all. I let them know that I appreciate them listening to me, and I ask for their sympathy and agreement that what their system is complete garbage for both of us. They often agree and are (in my mind) more likely to actually help me (if they even can). As long as I didn't bore them too much and expressed myself well.

This is the way. Going out of your way to be polite to people who are used to getting yelled at makes them much likelier to help you (not that that should be the reasoning behind being kind to people.)

One of those days I couldn't drag myself out of bed until 4pm. Nothing good or fun to do today. It was paying bills, taking a shower and because of no washer it is hand washing laundry again. So tored....no car news either..maybe they sold it would have no idea.

AIieeeeugh. Why dont clothespins hang right side up?? Always upsidedown when you reach for them. Dont answer that..I know its due to weight and balance and the longer heavier end is that side.

But geez after having to wash laundry by hand and be give out and my chest and back aching you'd think something could be different for me.

I went to hit the shower and notice dark patches on my cheek bones. They look just like age spots. I think oh great more old age signs I dont need and mentally cant take. But once in the shower I noticed that ar\e gone. No idea what that was.

Then I norice my arms down my biceps and around my back and down the sides are blue. I look like my veins have all ruptured. Figure its the end for me. Then realize they are washing off too. My shirt had faded on them in the night.

Just great ..not only do I suffer dreams all night and day of my wife cheating on me in one LONG as continued dream even after going to the bathroom multiple times I get scared shits im suddenly aging an dying soon. Weeeee what fun.

EDIT and now after being up 2 hours its getting dark. Damn winter time days. Seasonal sadness may be starting up. Have avoided it for a couple years. But Im trapped at home.

My random thought today......The year I entered kindergarten my wife entered high school :) I LOVE that. I really do and always did. I think as we aged to oldness she got more sensitive about it. I never did. Was always so proud I nabbed myself an older woman. I never liked girls my age and always wanted an older woman. I was thinking in my 15-18 year old self I wanted 24-30. I got my wife at 32 when I mistook her for 24. She always looked young and being so small it was easy to mistake her for a kid never mind a 24 year old.

I miss her lots more today than even normal these days. Such a rough time Im going through I really need her with me. Stuff has piled up and piled up on me. Ive not let it get to me in a long time. I thought Id beaten it all back. But today I just have been knocked down by it all. Stayed in bed until 3 and cried off and on since being up. Went back to bed a bit ago and my sister called to talk. Cheered me up and kept me from staying in bed again. Maybe tomorrow Ill be back again in charge.

I even tried getting drunk today but I cant tol the drinking enough to get drunk. After 2 or 3 shots I wasn't drunk and instead turned sick. Guess I lucked out. Actually ate good a min ago then ate again lol.

I still haven't heard a thing on my car and its been 3 weeks today. Ive called a few times today and got no reply. Left a msg 2 hours before closing and got no call back. I feel they are ignoring me but maybe they are off the the holiday this week. I no longer have the $500 to pay for it. Its the way it always is. I have to snip a little here for something or a little there. Im down to a bit over $400. Ill have more to go with it next month if nothing comes up...fat chance of that.

How about some DiGiorno’s New ‘Thanksgiving Pizza’ Has All the Fixings
According to a survey conducted by an online financial company last autumn, one-third of Gen Z-ers said they would serve pizza at their casual "Friendsgiving" celebrations, and those pies were significantly more popular than Thanksgiving turkey: only 24% of respondents said they'd be passing out plates of that ultra-traditional bird.

Who knows whether DiGiorno considered that survey when they planned their new limited edition release — we're not sure what they were thinking, period — but this year, you can combine turkey, all the sides, and a frozen pizza in one. The just-announced DiGiorno Thanksgiving Pizza takes a thick Detroit-style crust and piles it high with turkey, rich gravy, diced sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberries, two kinds of cheese, and a crispy onion topping. As a result, you can sample a full Thanksgiving meal with every (slightly bonkers) bite of this pie.

EDIT: Ahhh too late already sold out.

I don't like most Thanksgiving food in it's traditional form (I'm the guy with mostly ham and mashed potatoes on his plate.) I certainly wouldn't want it in pizza form!

I don't know whether I'd be down for a frozen turkey dinner pizza, but there's a bakery/cafe called Life of Pie here in Ottawa that makes a really good turkey dinner savoury pie: "A turkey dinner in a pie crust! A layer of Life of Pie cranberry sauce, followed by turkey, carrots, and sweet potatoes in gravy, topped with a spiced bread crumb stuffing. Available seasonally: Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter."

The closest I ever get to traditional Tgiving food these days is the Gobbler Wrap at a local restaurant. Same idea, but in a wrap. Also very very good. Another restaurant was selling individual takeout Tgiving plates to heat and eat -- for $24 per plate. Nope.

Lately I haven't been able to regulate my temputure,,..my temp not the house. Today sitting in my room nothing running I got cold,. My hands got icy cold and it ran up my forearms. But if I turn the little space heater on the lowest setting it feels good a bit then Im hot and Im sweaty all over. Turn it off I get cold. I can run the heater on low and a fan on low and kinda keep my temp normal almost.

Same in bed. No heated blanket going I will sweat then. Get cold turn blanket on low sweat worse.

And I didn't feel good today. I ate but filled really fast on very little. The I felt sick almost. I didn't eat more today. It was as if my food was going down slow then expanded in my stomach.

One of my favorite Twitch streamers is Nicole Belafonte. Her channel is like living in Fallout. Its black and white and her home and her dress are all the 1950s. In her world she was born in the 1930s and grew up in the 40s and 50s. Her dad was a civil engineer.

Anyways she lives real life like this. I have no idea where she found all the vintage stuff. She is wonderful. She plays jazz records during her chatting in stream. Its now 1960 in her world and you talk the old talk and about stuff in her time. Mention stuff in our time and she doesn't know what it is. She may say something "Oh I see your monitor is like a tv?" Its really great..its like being back in time. And she knows all the time period right stuff. Just amazing woman.

Anyways tonight was movie night and it was Sherlock Holmes in Washing DC. starring Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce.1943. It was a good movie too. At the end it played the American Anthem with flag waving..it was the old sign off I remember as a child. Midnight and the 3 tv stations signed off and quit until the next morning. Really took me back to being a kid in the early 70s. Felt great.

We had a clock like this..two in fact. One had wooden star shine arms.

I bought some frozen turkeys at $.49 a pound this year, got some sweet potatoes at $.30 a pound and am going to get a free pumpkin pie in the next week and now have the recipe for mom's stuffing (the best stuffing ever. My approximation won't compare) None of it will be for Thanksgiving, but over the holidays I will have a plates approximating a bunch of Thanksgiving dinners.

I've never made a turkey before so this should be an adventure after I go to thaw it.

I've been using the America's Test Kitchen recipe for the last few years. No complaints. The 2 main "parts" are 1) brine it first, and 2) use a V rack to cook it. With the V rack, it can be cooked at higher temps for shorter length. Let me know if you want more deets.
