Oh I’m fully aware that clip was spliced in and was not originally speaking to that lady’s comments on the moon.

That’s why I blamed the video. The video maker thought it was a great zinger to add, but I found it entirely “record needle scratch” wrong.

If I wanted to mock that woman’s speech (and I would), I would probably have hunted for a video that didn’t have that last bit included, out of the fear that someone whom I shared it with may think I agreed with the final sentiment of the video.

For those who don't know, this is Dennis Prager of "Prager University" propaganda video fame.

I love Adam Carolla as a comic, but when he would trot out Prager on his podcasts I felt that was the start of his turn from libertarian to MAGA adjacent conservative. As a libertarian I could still enjoy his comedy. As a devotee of Prager, he's become far less open minded and his jokes go from cruel to really cruel now. I'm surprised that Kimmel and he are still such good friends.

TBH, the US policy in South and Central America has the effect of encouraging/enabling this.
