Ubisoft +
They are running a deal for 1 year of ubisoft+ premium for $134.99 It's basically 4 months free.
Trying to decide if I want to bite the bullet to have more access to games, but knowing I won't renew and lose said access, or if I should just buy Star Wars Outlaws to own.
Anyone have any experiences with ubisoft +?

When in doubt, skewer it out...I don't know.

Re: Ubisoft +
I've had Ubisoft+ for years, after the recent (last year?) change my subscription is now called "UBISOFT+ PC ACCESS", $14.99/month, which includes:
I've been very happy with the service, haven't experienced any issues with connectivity, downloading games, etc. I don't play as many Ubisoft games as I used to but with AC Shadows and the new Star Wars game coming up I'll keep the service.* Where premium or special editions of the game are indicated (for example: Ultimate/Gold/Deluxe Editions), editions included in Ubisoft+ may not include all premium content. Please check each game page on the Ubisoft Store for more information on the availability of premium content in Ubisoft+. Offer subject to change.
- Play 100+ games on PC with Ubisoft Connect
- Access to premium editions *
- Play new releases on day one
- 10% discount on virtual currency packs
- Unique monthly rewards
- New Indie games added monthly
For the games I've been playing I've not noticed any Premium content that wasn't included, but then that might be just chance.
The Premium service, $17.99/month says it includes this:
I haven't found any reason to spend the extra three bucks a month to upgrade to Premium, so I'm sticking with PC Access. If I went to a yearly plan I'd save 17%. And the deal you quote also sounds good.* Where premium or special editions of the game are indicated (for example: Ultimate/Gold/Deluxe Editions), editions included in Ubisoft+ may not include all premium content. Please check each game page on the Ubisoft Store for more information on the availability of premium content in Ubisoft+. Offer subject to change.
- Play 100+ games on PC
- New releases Day 1 & early access when available
- Most premium editions and DLC content *
- 20% discount on games and DLCs, 10% off virtual currencies
- Monthly game rewards
- Play on Cloud with Luna
- Play on Xbox
Here's an image of the plans page I see:

Re: Ubisoft +
It looked like it might actually be useful, but when I reviewed my library I pretty much own everything they've published. So paying $135 to play Star Wars Outlaws (and presumably AC: Shadows) didn't really seem like as great deal. Maybe I missed something, but I didn't really see games I didn't already own or wanted to play. If I wasn't such a goon and purchased everything when it's on sale, maybe it would be a much better deal as I could imagine really enjoying a few games for the first time (again) while waiting for Outlaws to come out next month.
Maybe next year, maybe no go

Re: Ubisoft +
Yeah, that seems quite high. No way I'd be paying that per month, and it'd be even higher in CDN $, which would add up to abotu $30 a month. It feels like they're out of touch with what most gamers would be able to pay.

Re: Ubisoft +
The Canadian price for Classics is $9.99/month or $99.99/year (current offer for $75.99/year) and for Premium it's $19.99/month or $199.99/year (current offer for $149.99/year). The discounted offer for the 12-month subs expires on 11 July.
The discounted 12-month Premium sub is tempting. In addition to SWO, I'm interested in AC Shadows, AC Mirage, Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary, and Avatar, at a minumum. The price for SWO Ultimate is $169.99, so in theory I'd get a lot more value from Ubisoft+ than in purchasing one game at launch.

Re: Ubisoft +
And... I pulled the trigger on the $150 for 12 months deal today. That's less than I'd have paid for the ultimate version, so it's arguably the fiscally responsible option -- or the least bad one, if you're really down on the price. I guess it depends on whether I'm still playing SW:O this time next year and have to either renew the Ubi+ sub or buy the game to continue.

Re: Ubisoft +
I picked the deal up last week. There are quite a few assassin's creed titles I don't own, plus the new SW, and the new AC so it's worth it for me. Just started Black Flag and liking it so far.
