Jennifer Garner's Elektra? That one I wasn't expecting. Also, hints of X-Men Origins: Wolverine and First Class in there.

It's not a real trailer. It's a fan created one.

That explains the janky patch on Patch plus I seriously doubt they'd reveal a hulk battle if it was real.

Goddammit. I absolutely hate those fake trailers. I don't mind fan trailers, but when they don't label them as such in order to sucker in views, they lose their appeal very quickly.

It really is frustrating. I'd seen one a few weeks ago and was just about to post it when I realized it was the same thing - they'd taken real trailers + random footage and stitched together a wish list or best guess trailer based on rumors. That they have access to video editing tools and can pull off a convincing trailer so easily is both impressive and annoying.

I recently spent way too much time and effort trying to figure out if a real trailer existed for Star Wars Skeleton Crew.

On the bright side, this means that Elektra isn't in this. I just rewatched all ten previous X-Men movies (even Origins) plus the two Deadpools to have it all fresh in my mind.

I really didn't want to have to watch Daredevil (movie) and Elektra again.

I went into a music store tonight with my daughter and I was wearing my Deadpool shirt. The guy behind the counter complimented me on it and said, "Are you excited for the new movie?" I said, "Yeah, looking forward to it!" He said, "Is Deadpool your favorite Marvel character?" And I said, "No, not really. But I do like the movies." Crickets. He didn't say a word to me after that.

Hey man, I own a Deadpool shirt, I'm sorry if him not being my favorite superhero offends you. I'm a DC guy.

Well...we don't know. This fan-trailer is taking some of the rumors (like she makes a cameo) and pretending it's a fact. There are a ton of rumors I've heard and I honestly could believe all of them - because it's Deadpool. I fully expect random cameos and bonkers appearances just because of the scope of this story. Like...I could imagine Michael Keaton as Batman making an appearance, because that would make sense.

Let me clarify, then: I don't know in advance that Elektra is in it, so I don't feel the need to sit through those two movies.

That Daredevil film is one of the very, very few films I've never been able to get through. I sat through Battlefield Earth and Waterworld, but I have yet to make it past 30 minutes on Daredevil on multiple attempts.

Ah, yeah, big difference. I'm confident any cameos are going to just be fun and (hopefully) there are things people will pick up on after multiple viewings.

I don't think I've seen the Affleck Daredevil since it was released. Now you're making me want to go back and watch it again.

Weird. The Don't Recommend shows up for me in the app but not on the website.
Also, one one PC I get more options (but not the Don't Recommend) than I get with the same channel/video on another PC.

If you are on the home page where all the videos are recommended, each video should have three vertical dots under them at the end of the vide name. Click on that and the three bottom options are Not Interested, Don't Recommend Channel, Report.

Yeah, I only ever see that option on recommended channels. If you're already on a channel (like if a post sent you there), or if you search for something and find something you want to avoid, there isn't an option.

How do you get your wife who "doesn't like superhero movies" to watch Deadpool? She agreed to see the first one with me because it released on Valentine's Day and I pitched it as a love story...she humored me and ended up loving it. She gladly went with me to see Deadpool 2 and we just got back from 'Deadpool and Wolverine.' I think it says something about how unique Ryan Reynolds and the Deadpool series are that someone who actively avoids the MCU has gone to see every Deadpool movie with me, laughed from start to finish, and would probably even recommend them to others.

I don't want to say much about the actual movie because the story twists and surprise cameos (so many awesome cameos) are a big part of what make D&W so great, but I really think this is Deadpool at his best...unbelievably funny, great action, and the Reynolds/Jackman due absolutely knock it out of the park. I've loved all the Deadpool movies, but this is probably my favorite...the best two hours I've spent at the movies in a long time!
