I am passing this year and for the foreseeable future. Last year I learned that my urge to learn about new games has faded and I mostly just want to play games with friends. Using vacation days, paying and driving downtown to do that seems silly. Maybe in a decade or so, if I ever get to retire, I will think about it again.
