Falcons have a good secondary, and I think Denver has a decent defense, so I might go Purdy even with the injuries.

I picked correctly with Purdy. Not that it mattered. My opponent has Derrick Henry and Jauan Jennings.
It's almost as if people are the problem.

If Joe Barrows doesn't do outstanding today, I will win... But I mean, it's against the commanders, so I am most likely losing.

Sheesh, this is one small box. Thankfully, everything's packed in nicely this time. Not too tight nor too loose (someone's sig in 3, 2, ...). - Hepcat

Given the under performance of all my players all of the time and of 3 QBs I picked, Burrow is still my best option, I not only imagine you will win, I imagine a win less season.
For the first three matchups, I went in predicted to win, though. I can't imagine those predictions will hold up in the future, given the cumulative points put up by my players.

Yeah, sorry your one RB earned -1 points. That hurts. But you are in a good position to still win today.LordMortis wrote: Mon Sep 23, 2024 12:13 pm Given the under performance of all my players all of the time and of 3 QBs I picked, Burrow is still my best option, I not only imagine you will win, I imagine a win less season.

While watching my Jags get their asses kicked, I also had to suffer through playing a guy who had Allen, Kincaid and Shakir on his team. I at least had the last laugh when Jayden Daniels threw the final TD. 2 point win for me!!

Rumor is that McCaffrey did not get good news in Germany and is set to miss more time.

Re: Fantasy Football '24 - Lassrbrains on Defense
Somehow all my players performed this week. So unless the opposing teams TE does outstanding tonight, I will win.

That's my TE. I'm not trying to give you false hope when I tell you through the first three games he's average 5.33 points and is working his way back from a sprained ankle. I think you're good.RMC wrote: Mon Sep 30, 2024 8:57 am Somehow all my players performed this week. So unless the opposing teams TE does outstanding tonight, I will win.

I also have my RB and TE going tonight. So yeah, I am most likely good this week. You just hit my team at the wrong time, as they are either hit or miss.Dogstar wrote: Mon Sep 30, 2024 9:32 amThat's my TE. Headed for 0-4 *2.
In my other league , I'm 2nd in points for, first in points against.

Oh man, been there one year. It stinks. And the worst part of that, is being second in points, means you couldn't have done anything really different. Just bad luck.Isgrimnur wrote: Mon Sep 30, 2024 10:28 am Headed for 0-4 *2.

Well, you might win this week. I really thought after your QB and WR acored 74 pt by themselves I was done for. But then my QB and WR scored 68 pts. So wow..Isgrimnur wrote: Mon Sep 30, 2024 10:28 am Headed for 0-4 *2.

So you just need 31 points out of your WR tonight. I mean it's very possible, C Olave could do it..Not likely, but against me, he just might.

I have a chance to win a second game, if only because the Saints have no TE, at least for the moment. There's still time to change that. However if they let Laprote go, I will be jumping on picking him up if I can.

I'm chuckling... I wasn't going to let anyone go to pick up a TE, but you convinced me... and I'm keeping Laporta! Definitely turning over some of the team, so why not start now?LordMortis wrote: Mon Oct 07, 2024 9:04 am I have a chance to win a second game, if only because the Saints have no TE, at least for the moment. I'll be waiting for my new TE to get 1 catch... and then fumble the ball. Would serve me right.

Re: Fantasy Football '24 - Lassrbrains on Defense
Well, I seem to be cursing the teams that play me the last few weeks. I managed to pull out a win again, but feel bad, as my opponent had a tyeam member with -1, and thier QB scored 1 point... Ouch..

I won my PPR league this year. Drafting Daniels, Bowers and McConkey made me look like an expert. Some help was had by another team dropping Nacua when he went on IR.

Re: Fantasy Football '24 - Lassrbrains on Defense
I actually somehow had a great team, but lost last week do to some outstanding play. Second highest score last week and 200 points this week to cement 3rd place. Lol.
But it was all luck, I did not think Lamar Jackson would be as good as he was...

Congrats to RMC for dropping 200!
Yahoo thinks I'm heading for a loss tonight for 1st place. Thought I had a solid team for most of the season, made some trades, but I faltered a bit down the stretch. Plus, I bet on the NY Giants continuing to lose, which really seemed safe... only to have them drop 45 points on the Colts and cost my 15.
I'll check back in tomorrow to potentially congratulate Dirty Jerzey!

And Purdy put up a pretty good score for you (with LaPorta's help) to pull it out, congrats.
My only consolation, I did win the championship in my money league. I'll take it.

My miserable season ended with a pretty thrilling one point win to improve to 7-7 on the season. I did win the championship in my main league, so I'm feeling pretty good overall about fantasy football at the moment.

Lol, we have no QB, and our defense while sometimes showing signs of life, is awful.
