I haven't seen this game mentioned here, but for anybody looking for something along the lines of Vampire Survivor or Halls of Torment, this one is a good option. I have been enjoying my time with it, but I don't want to play it too much since I read online that the demo save game won't transfer once the full game is released.
Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel is slated for release this quarter, however there is a free demo available on Steam. It is set in mythological Norse realms, and one of the character types you can choose is a barbarian. Upon each level you get a random choice of God (e.g. Loki/Thor/etc.) or Class (in this case, Barbarian) based skills/spells. You have to unlock higher difficulties, and starting on Easy you get around 20 minutes (can't remember exactly) to complete several tasks, on top of surviving the hordes. If you complete all those tasks, the final task is to unleash the boss, where you try to kill him before the timer runs out.
Worth a look if you enjoy these type of games!

Added to wishlist. Looks a lot like an action rpg, but it will depend on all the meta mechanics whether I pick it up, as bullet hells aren't my favourite genre without some form of management or progression.
