Kind of a misleading photo. That's the section behind the stage.

Here's the same guy, better perspective. Definitely still low energy but hardly empty.

"No scientific discovery is named after its original discoverer." -Stigler's Law of Eponymy, discovered by Robert K. Merton

This Atlantic article may be the most clear article I've read that lays out the three circles of Trumpism (The inner circle, the true believers, the common Repub who doesn't want to change their ideology).

The Critic was gold, and he roughed up Andy Dick, so he gets points from me.
It's almost as if people are the problem.

He had a VERY short lived comedy show on tv decades ago. I think it ran like one episode. But one of my all time favorite comedy skits was included. He stood up on the stage and had a beautiful model walk up and start making out with him. Then he'd pull away, look at the screen and say "Jealous? Don't be! LIVE THROUGH ME!". To this day, I'll still yell out "LIVE THROUGH ME!" when I'm doing something fun.

...which is confusing to total strangers.
