It has definitely been discussed that it could be in the industry rags. I hope not, I really love these movies, and while Cruise can't keep doing them forever (see Roger Moore as James Bond in his late movies) and there really won't be anyone else like him who can run a franchise and carry it like he does, I do hope he doesn't stop early. Even lower budget versions would be fine - not every stunt needs to be bigger and more expensive than the last movie (but the behind the scenes reels for Dead Reckoning are rather amazing in looking at all the stunts and location setups).
Black Lives definitely Matter Lorini!

I think so too. A successful and dedicated series of films by Cruise and I don't think he's stopping anytime soon

Re: [movie] Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning
It's possible the name is misleading. Remember, the last one was called Dead Reckoning Pt 1, and for some reason, they decided against naming this one pt2. The 'Final' in the name might just be referring to the back-half of the story closing it out. Though anyone who hasn't seen the last one and sees this one would likely be utterly confused as it's a direct continuation.
There are rumours that they might be setting up Hayley Atwell's character to be a new permanent agent. She could possibly step up to main character with Tom Cruise shifting to more of a support role.

I think Ive seen the first one or three. But after that I haven't watched. Its good cause I got a whole movie series to watch now. And as for making more..they'll keep making them if the money is good and Cruise doesn't age out of it.

I thought the last one was z lot of fun, not sure why it underperformed at the box office given the success of the prior movies. Looking forward to this.
