Who would have thought Jim Harbaugh would pass brother John in the standings again in Week 11. Especially with some lucky mojo.

This definitely feels like a Niners season lost to injury, rather like the season after the last loss to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl when they went 6-10 due to injuries. However, the NFC West doesn't look all that great and if they can stay in striking distance, a sudden burst of health late might be ok. Not betting on it tho. McCaffrey, even when he comes back, isn't likely to be 100% for any length of time, but I do think the biggest issue is that neither Greenlaw nor Hufanga have made it back yet. Dre Greenlaw is such an underrated component of the Niners defense, especially these days with QBs throwing short routes most of the time - sideline to sideline LBs who can cover are at a premium (remember that Greenlaw made HUGE defensive plays in both playoff games to just get the Niners to the Super Bowl last year), and he's one of the best - Hufanga fills the same role as a Safety, and watching Mahomes carve them up underneath the past 2 games (including the Super Bowl), it has been obvious how much the Niners miss having 1-2 more guys who can do that besides Warner.
Adding Bosa to the list. Looking more and more like a season lost to injuries, tho he could be back soon. (I'm not that disappointed that he got injured tho, for off the field issues).

I find myself with an extra ticket to 49ers @ Bills on Dec 1st. Anyone interested in joining me?

My little brother might be interested but I’m not sure he’d skip church for the game. He’s two hours away… and a Niners fan.

Jets disarray = :D . Seeing Arrogant Rogers' career go down the tubes is added chef's kiss. Hopefully some other desperate team will sign him with equally disastrous results.

His dead cap next year is $49M. Unless they trade him, I don't see how they cut him.

Tonight is the Harbaugh Bowl in LA. Could make for a tense Thanksgiving dinner.

Meanwhile the Jags sat comfortably in the clubhouse at 2-9 while the Raiders and Giants both had to lay an egg to keep pace.

My Browns beat the Steelers, to ensure that they don't get the number 1 pick. Sigh..

And as a Ravens fan, I thank you for that. Sorry about the pick....

Nice bounce-back by the Ravens tonight. Defense was average again (which is a big improvement) and the offense reappeared. Another tough game next against the Eagles.

Not necessarily a bad thing. The Bears are proving that the #1 pick doesn't equate to a sure thing.

Dude. Give the guy a rookie year and a team to form around him. Not sure how you can watch the Bears and not have some hope with this team. Well. Don't get me wrong - I also understand complete doom and no faith in the future of the Bears - so yea.

Epic collapse by da Bears. I was so hoping they would get a chance to blow a last second field goal, but they couldn't get a play off in 30 seconds.

LOL, the Raiders keep their draft pick position in tact with a botched hike lost fumble with 11 seconds remaining. I haven't seen an implosion like this since...well yesterday by the Bears.

I approve.

Am I the only one who assumes that Williams was looking at the play-clock and thought that was the game clock?

And - to that point. Here is a strange idea that I think the NFL should maybe think about.

If the game clock is less than the play clock, and both clocks are moving. Have the play clock show the game clock.

Wouldn't it be interesting if that's how NCAA games do it and just not how NFL does it?

Bizarrely, after losing to the Ravens last week, Jim Harbaugh has passed brother John in the standings again at 8-4 vs. 8-5.

Eliminated from the playoffs this week:

Patriots (3-10)
Raiders (2-10)
Giants (2-10)

Crazily the 2-10 Jags still have a mathematical chance, but it would probably require a total solar eclipse.

And CMC out for the year. I thought it was stupid to have him play considering he's still recovering. That cold weather wasn't going to do him any good.

Niners season is done. Too many injuries to overcome.

Sorry to see McCaffrey go down.

I would imagine that game was a lot of fun to be at, and to see a little bit of history. I couldn’t be happier that I’m only six weeks, Josh has turned Amari Cooper into the kind of psychopath willing to lateral that ball to Allen.

Only QB to ever register passing TD, rushing TD, and receiving TD in the same game. Only fourth player to ever get credited with a receiving TD from himself. Nice little fun memory.

Also, that blows for CMC.

To be honest for a 3-10 season this is all going pretty well for the Patriots. Still early but Drake Maye looks like he could turn into a legit franchise QB. They're still blowing games though so should get another very high draft pick to infuse talent into the team. And the Jets continue to be laughably bad.

The major looming obstacles are that Jerod Mayo may be a bad head coach, and it's unclear whether the Krafts will infuse free agency money at the right time (at least pay for an OL!).

I'm not terribly bothered by it, I'm just reporting for technical data-gathering reasons. The numbers seem to trigger the emoji response. msteelers also has it happen (still, I believe)
