First two episodes are up. This ain't your afterschool cartoon, kiddies. For one, I don't know how much Gogol Bordello gets daytime airplay.

I had a good time with it. Definitely has the James Gunn stamp on it.

We definitely got a James Gunn project—a quirky, dark one in all the right ways. There’s a really fun tone to the first few episodes, being both very irreverent and also having more character moments. I’m looking forward to seeing what they create with this.

It looks like this is airing on Adult Swim here in Canada.

I enjoyed the hell out of it personally. Can't wait for more.

Lol! Also, this is fantastic.

Alan Tudyk…say no more.

I feel like I’m missing a lot of backstory though, should I be watching something else first? I remember the weasel from a live action movie I think.

Gogol Bordello soundtrack is…chef’s kiss, my God. Love it.

James Gunn Shares Vision for His First DC Studios Project ‘Creature Commandos’ at Annecy
“The new series picks up directly after our Peacemaker season one finale, which leaves Waller with her hands tied operationally, meaning that she’s no longer able to get away with putting human lives on the line to carry out her clandestine morally questionable missions,” the filmmaker shared in his video. “Instead, she recruits a ragtag band of misfits, not unlike the Suicide Squad and Peacemaker.”

That's a good plan regardless of whether or not you want to watch Creature Commandos. I'd also suggest watching the 2021 Suicide Squad by Gunn first.

I love the show with one exception. David Harbour sounds like he’s just phoning it in. Everyone else is doing a great job, while he sounds like he’s reading his texts while doing the voice over.

Well, episode 3 was just another amazing entry in the series. This show is just so damn good.

And kudos to the writers for introducing William Magnus. I loved the little easter egg in the scene in Magnus' lab with the symbols for all the metal men written on the chalkboard behind him.

Whoa, Weasel's backstory is not something I saw coming.

I suspected that was going to be the real story behind Weasel's "murders", considering Gunn's past stories. But it was still sad.

Harbour's VO for Frank was significantly better this episode.

And Nina is useless and shouldn't even be in these episodes....which makes me think she's going to have a huge episode soon
