[Paramount+ & CBS] Ghosts
I've started watching a new streaming show called Ghosts. It's a comedy. A young couple in NY inherit a mansion filled with ghosts. They decide to make it a B&B and the ghosts don't want that. Then the girl falls down the stairs and hits her head. Now she can see and hear them. Seems fun so far after 2 eps.

When in doubt, skewer it out...I don't know.

4 eps in now...still great. Enjoying it. I think the girl that stars as the lead is the one that played the lead in iZombie.

Like The Office and Friends, the UK did it first.
If you can find the original BBC run of Ghosts, it's very much worth the watch.
And yes, Rose McIver was Liv Moore in iZombie.

Re: [Paramount+ & CBS] Ghosts
I started watching the British version of Ghosts on Paramount Plus about a year ago. I believe they still have it. I bounced off it at the time, but I always meant to give it another go.
I remember when I found out Sanford and Son was a remake of a British show when I was a kid. That's one that seemed distinctly American. But I realized that unlike most remakes, they made that one brilliant change of making Sanford and Son an African American comedy that allowed it to examine America in a more significant manner.

I looked for it on YTTV, whence I get CBS, and found that they're several episodes into season 4. S2 is available as PPV. There is no sign of seasons 1 or 3. I told my DVR to record it anyway, but I don't think I'll be watching it any time soon. At least, not until I sign up for Paramount again to catch up on Star Trek. Gonna be a while before I do that, since the only ST show still in production is SNW (right?).

I enjoy the show. I think this is the exemption in that the US version is superior to the British one.

Re: [Paramount+ & CBS] Ghosts
Im really loving this show. in fact its all i watch. Though I am interested in Kathy Bates' version of Matlock.
I think im nearing season 1 ending. Ive watched a bunch but not sure. I was really happy to see theres at least 4 seasons of this...though the eps seem short. maybe Im just enjoying them so much.
but it had one flaw..with such a large cast some characters are getting shafted in on air time or interaction. There are 8 ghosts plus the 2 humans. Its a shame as I love the cast..love the characters.
Theres seems to be a core 4 that get like 80% of the screen time...
Isaac the revolutionary war guy
Hetty the relative
Alberta the blues singer
Pete arrow guy
The other 4 dont get much time. In fact Ive not seen Flower in some eps at all and I want to see more of her she is cool.
Flower the hippy stoner girl. She barely gets 5 words if any per ep. And she seems so interesting.
Trevor the pantless stock guy. All he gets to do mostly is stand in the background and smile.
Thor the offbeat viking. He gets to yell a battle cry or say 1 line.
Sasappis the indian. All he gets to do is ask for the tv to be on and to smell pizza.
And thats a shame. And they really only told how 4 of the 8 died. I want to hear all their stores...like why some were even on the property.

Minir spoiler but in later seasons in turns out that they were all actually there for an historical convention but end up forgetting.

They all get their back stories filled in over the seasons.

Side note.
We are on season 5 episode 5 of the UK version.
Bit of as rough start but it grew on us.
Biggest issue is not understanding some British references.
