I read that people really liked this game but also that it wasn't very challenging and I was like THAT'S WHAT I WANT.
I am still waiting for an excellent Souls like game which a "Casual" or "Extremely Easy" setting. I have tried a few including the much praised Elden Ring. But, the difficulty just makes it frustrating and not fun for me. It just seems ridiculous to lose customers over a stubborn belief that a game can't have an easy/casual mode. Give dopes like me the option to have a casual exeprience. My gaming time is limited and I don't want to go through boot camp to play a damn game.
Your unspoken assumption is that they wouldn't lose customers if they did include an easy/casual mode.
I'm not going to argue game design and demographics, I'm just going to say that not all games are for everyone. I feel like that's self evident (I'm not a fan of jrpgs, for example) and that's just the way the world works sometimes.

Why in the world would anyone refuse to buy a game because they added difficulty options?! They aren't losing anything.
Even weird ass Nintendo added a rookie difficulty to Metroid Dread. I've never wanted to play it on that difficulty, but I don't resent people who do.

You'd have to ask them. This is not a new idea, and there are many discussions about this idea on the 'net. I'd look for game designers opinions, as they are the ones making the decision, hopefully they know why they are doing it.
edit: Here's an article from SMU. I didn't read it and have no idea if their arguments resonate or not. But you seemed interested, and this is the first link I found.
What kind of download rate are you guys getting from Steam these days? I feel like it used to be faster, but I've never quantified it before. Steam is telling me 13-14 MB/s currently. That seems slow. Maybe I'm way off, as I'm basing my comments on how it feels.

Two Worlds II is fairly decent. I can't fight skeletons to save my life. Somehow they hit harder than other enemies and come in groups. Fire works well but in dungeons they get in my face and I don't have time to cast without having them break my concentration with a hit. Probably I'd be fine if I had specced only as a warrior but I had hoped to be able to build a mage.
I think its time to reinstall Conquest: Frontier Wars. All the space stuff videos Ive been watching have me in the mood again....if it runs now days. It would be good on a tablet I bet.
Getting tired of star trek fleet command...turned into a wait wait wait game..i hate mobile games for that single reason.

Heh, Two Worlds II was much improved over the first game. Still wasn't perfect, but it at least was playable without it being too frustrating, and the world design was quite nice. They even have a quest that nods to the Medieval language the game first used.
The magic system seems interesting but I'm level 10 and still don't have enough magical things (skills and cards) to really have more than the two starting spells. So I'm a basic man at arms for now. The RNG for loot combined with the seeming lack of respawning enemies bothers me. I know there are enough bodies and chests that chance will even out but it feels like I am missing out. For those who remember the game; when do you start seeing magic crystals to slot into items?

I've played the game, but I don't remember the magic system at all. Then again, I went as a fighter, which was far less relying on random spawns. And no, there aren't respawning enemies, from what I recall. I think I remember hearing at the time of release that there were complaints about the game being stacked against magic users.

I don't know who needs to know this, but I've now completed every scenario and every DLC scenario available for PowerWash Simulator.

Is there a quick and dirty way to install games like Baldurs Gate on a tablet?...if its complicated just forget it..ill find a tablet made rpg
Is Steam Link an option? The game is still playing on your PC, but you see the game on your tablet screen. (I use Steam Link to stream internet video from my PC to my TV.)
Steam officially supports streaming to other devices, including Android tablets:

I finally got a few crystals last night which means that might be level limited but there are still no magic drops. The magic system looks like a fun built a spell type but if I can't get the materials to start building interesting spells (right now I can do trivial variations on fire bolt) I might drop the game.

The Atari Lynx was awesome and it's price wasn't too far off the Gameboy at the time. That they couldn't make it then with a superior product and are now trying to live off of nostalgia instead nearly 30 years later is crazy. For that matter that there may have been a few people collecting paychecks from Atari in all this time is also crazy.
Well the name Atari was bout out a few years ago. I honestly figured we'd see Atari pencil holders or an Atari tv but that they are actually still making this stuff is great.

Well the name Atari was bout out a few years ago.
it was bought out several times over the past decades. and all the owners (since the Jaguar was released) rely heavily on making Atari a nostalgia brand. remember the 'Atari Flashback' mini-consoles of the 2000s and 2010s? every other year, which would bring more or less the same Android-based emulator system with more or less the exact same games.
Yeah, not to mention Atari is pretty much divided into two distinct companies now. The software brand that will publish Atari branded games is now owned by the Embracer group, I believe. The hardware brand is entirely separate, and I think there's a reason they rely on nostalgia, because they only have the rights to the old software. At least that's the way I understand it.
It's a similar situation with the Commodore Revival, with several companies doing different things with the name. There was a Commodore phone in the works at one point.
Ive had Atari in my life for at least 47 years now. Love them. Well love what they were to me. Always will. I need an Atari T-Shirt

Now the Commodore 64 was a truly awesome tittle piece of silicon. I miss the old record label Electronic Arts games. I only bought a few and pirated the rest, but those days were great.

In the game, there is a rudimentary career progression. You start with a very weak power washer and limited nozzles, and you're able to buy more powerful ones as you complete jobs and earn cash. But it's very basic.
It would be cool if there was maybe an economic layer to the game (much as there is in Lawn Mowing Simulator) where you really had to pick and choose jobs based on your current equipment level and strategize the best way to earn money to get to the next level.
It would also be nice if there was a bit more depth to the power washing itself. In the current game, there are types of substances (like rust) that are difficult to remove if you're using a weak nozzle. But again, it's a very basic implementation. It might be interesting to have to prep certain surfaces first, or just have a wider array of situations in which your washer and nozzle mattered (other than "just always use the most powerful.")
It does sound like a silly game but there's a reason I've got 100+ hours in it. It's relaxing, it has a quirky sense of humor with the narrated storylines that play out during missions, and it's extremely satisfying to take a level from completely destroyed to sparkling clean. For someone like me who values order and tidiness and fixing messes IRL, it's very gratifying.

I'm hoping they'll announce a sequel at some point, but they seem content to just keep adding DLC.
I can't wrap my head around the concept that there is enough content for a game about spraying things with water to make DLC, much less a sequel!
There is actually quite a bit of content in terms of how many hours you can put into the game, and there is a story that eventually involves aliens. So yeah, crazier things have happened, especially in relation to that game.
Well a tight knit group of friends could possibly save the galaxy...

Pick up this game today since it left Early Access for Full Release
I tried the demo and was undecided, so I got the full game and gave it a look. Sadly it doesn't compare all that well with what I consider my gold standard of colony builders, Foundation:
Note that Foundation is still in Early Release, but the demo which you can download is a demo of the 1.0 version with lots and lots of changes and tweaks. Foundation is planned to hit Full Release on January 31st.
