My friends who watched the show but never played the games think they are ready. They are so very not ready.

I really need to go back and try to play the first one again; it wasn't what I was expecting and I didn't enjoy it. I might just need to accept that I'm a fan of the TV show and not the game. Not everyone can know about the Red Wedding before it airs on the TV, and maybe it's time for me to experience that.

My worry is that they will substantially change the story to try and
Spoiler:
keep Joel alive as long as possible. There's nothing worse than losing your star at the beginning of a season. I know there are flashbacks they can do and things like that, so I hope they go that route rather than just full on changing the story to keep Pascal around longer.

I do think it would be foolish to make Part 2 just one season. There's more than enough content to turn it into 2 full seasons. But 3 might be stretching it.

I guess it's time for me to go back and finish Part 2... can't remember what other game dragged me away, but I think I have quite a bit left. I'll probably just start over and try to bang it out before watching the next season of the show.

I've played through it twice and enjoyed it both times. It is a punch in the gut multiple times through to the end though.

The first season was great, but I'm leaning against watching season 2. Like it was a great show, but also just thoroughly depressing in almost every part (which I guess wasn't really a surprise), and when I finished it I was like... that was great, but did I really enjoy watching it?

Plus Joel's big decision at the end of season 1 (which I know is reflected in the game) was just infuriating / depressing.

The Nick Offerman episode of season 1 was enough to earn my respect for the show. I'm in.

So good, and so weird that a post-apocalypse zombie show featured possibly the best love story ever made for TV.
Much prefer my Nazis Nuremberged.

Was that with the 2 gay guys?
If si, I didn't like it because it made me sad. I was great up to that point but once it happened it became sad.

It's a show about the apocalypse, not the Dunder Mifflin offices.

I'm saying the show is supposed to be sad. Or at least include a lot of sad stories.

But now I want a gay version of The Office set in an apocalypse.

Got it.
I just didn't process it properly and thought you were making a comparison for some subplot of The Office.
I would also watch your version of the office.
Maybe Pam, Jim, and Dwight are in a torrid affair with Michael watching longingly from the outside but it's a mystery as to who he is longing for.

Good lord, I can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday and you want me to remember subplots of a show that stopped airing back in 1957!?!
