The issue with his argument regarding the electoral college is that the votes and seats are no longer directly based on proportion of population. If they were we wouldn't have an idiot in office right now. The population as it is currently would make national elections a near lock for the Democratic party.

I think the original discussion suffered from nobody defining which of the 10,000 problems 'The Problem' referred to. That meme seems to be discussing a completely different problem than seems to be so contentious in the other thread.
