Almost feels like an April fools joke.

I really don't know what to think of the Tron: Ares trailer. I like Tron in general, but this concept of the computer world crossing over into ours seems so silly. Seeing the Tron Lightcycles being able to slice up a real car has me rolling my eyes.

Either this still takes place all in a computer and they finally upgraded the Tron computer with RTX video cards, or this is a dream sequence, or someone figured out how to print assests on a 3d printer...

Yeah, I had a discussion with some friends about it and one of them suggested they might go with the 'real world is an actual simulation of the real world' angle. And I really can't see it working otherwise. They're going to likely pull an Inception on people. And if that's not the angle they're taking, then sorry, but the scenario kind of falls apart on the entire premise.
