Racing Destruction Set? Good LORD, now I am getting all vaklempt (sp?) Sniff..I completely forgot about that bad boy.
And Mail Order Monsters?...awesome. I would love to just be able to see a screen shot from that game and it would make me happy.
I would say those were definitely the "good ol days" of EA to be sure...Bard's Tale anyone?
I will have to add X-Wing to the list. Tie Fighter just did not do it for me (relative to my X-Wing gaming experience).
I would probably also buy a remake of some of the Gabriel Knight stuff, and maybe some older adventure games, like Space Quest, Monkey's Island (the ones after the first two were just not funny imo), Indiana Jones, etc. Police Quest...def.
I would pay $10 to see Blue Max redone...always enjoyed that one.

Trackmania Sunrise I'm thinking would compare and be the closest thing out to RDS now. It has loops and jumps and other pieces of track that you can use to make your own tracks.Carpet_pissr wrote:Racing Destruction Set? Good LORD, now I am getting all vaklempt (sp?) I think I still have my RDS in the record album type thing it came in for the C64 at my parents in a box.

Not quite Mail Order Monsters, but isn't Crush Crumble Chomp coming back as It Came From Hollywood (sorta)?Sectoid wrote:At your request...Carpet_pissr wrote:And Mail Order Monsters?...awesome. I would love to just be able to see a screen shot from that game and it would make me happy.
Oh.. how about "Rocket Ranger"? I did get the New Defender of the Crown, but I'd still like to see Cinemaware make it.

Hell ya, good call! Any Microprose game from that time period would get my vote, particularly Airborne Ranger, F-19 and Gunship.Smoove_B wrote:Airborne Ranger
Also wouldn't mind seeing Space Quest I & II, and Police Quest I & II.
And Infocom's Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy..with um, well, a better font

(besides, I lost my Joojanta sunglasses).

I've gotta think that a racing game that lets you create your own tracks can't be far off. I wouldn't be surprised if one already exists and I just don't know about it.Carpet_pissr wrote:Racing Destruction Set? Good LORD, now I am getting all vaklempt (sp?) Add in a old RPG like the Might and Magic series...
Mechwarrior II
Longbow is a good call, haven't thought about that game in a long time.
