Yes, but try to post without typing something in the message body...you can't. Thus, the superfluous EOM.The Meal wrote:Telling us we don't need to open the message *INSIDE THE MESSAGE* is sort of dumb, no?Carpet_pissr wrote:end of msg..ie you don't need to open this message...subject says it all

By your reactions, I assume nobody here has ever Yahooed (EOM is used in Yahoo forums)? You guys need to get out more!

No, from my reactions, one could find that the community decided that "NT" and "eom" messages are annoying and that we don't do things that way around here. Not that there's anything to stop someone from doing them, it's just that it's not the style folks employ. Sort of like how we use full words in our posts and don't really post with "leet speak" unless we're mocking something.
Not trying to pick a fight or anything, just pointing this out.
Thanks for the heads-up on the bargain!

Point taken. I will refrain from using time saving methods in the future
Just thought that in a "bargains" forum, where three or four words ina subject is typically enough to let others know about a deal, that NT or EOM might save somebody some time. Why is that "annoying"?
Link instead of EOM is a good point.

I am not sure my rig is up to snuff to run it with all the eye candy, but with this price, I might try it. Using 9600 Pro, AMD 3200, 1 gig ram.Eduardo X wrote:Instead of EOM, you could have provided a link....
EDIT: Also, BUY THIS GAME! It is good. Very good. I'm sure the soon to be released patches will make it excellent.
What is your take on recommended h/w vs. real world performance?

I think you should ask Kratz about that. I'm not so smart when it comes to performance. I'm in the "if I can fly, it works" category of gamer.Carpet_pissr wrote:I am not sure my rig is up to snuff to run it with all the eye candy, but with this price, I might try it. "eom" is fine by me. At least now I know what it means.Carpet_pissr wrote:Point taken. I will refrain from using time saving methods in the future![]()

But I agree with you, a link would be better.
