Is my router dying?

Post by JR »

Can anyone think why out of the blue, my router is not able to access certain websites (e.g. ebay, hotmail, gmail, etc,---OO is ok, though:)). I haven't changed any settings on it, and it was working correctly before. When I plug my modem directly into the computer all the websites work fine. I have a D-Link airplus wireless B router (DI-614). I haven't tried a hard reset because I don't want to re-configure everything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

That's odd. I would try the hard reset; it has to be a software issue...

Thanks Zaxxon. I figured I'd have to try it eventually. My wife keeps bugging me to get the internet working on the other computer, so I'll probably give it a go tonight.
