We need to get Gunder to post the list again...

I may even throw in something somewhat more recent this time. :)

Its all yours. I will mail it tomorrow most likely.

So, does this mean my karma is at +1 or is it +5?

you're at +5 - whatever you put up for grabs counts towards your total (each item is +1). you get -1 whenever you claim something.

Sent a PM about Uru.

I'll have to check my Karma - anyone know the page for the last PIFF list?

EDIT - found it on p. 7.

Karma was +4, now +3

I am getting a list together of a number of games (70+) that are ridiculously old and have no chance of me ever playing them again. Is this the best place to dump the list? I don't want to hang on to these forever, but figured I would post them here, wait a month and then throw out whatever people didn't want. Is that cool?

Also - the list on page 7 has me as offering Half-Life GOTY edition. I no longer have that. I thought I gave it to someone.

Let me know if there is a procedure for posting large lists of games or something.
And in banks across the world
Christians, Moslems, Hindus, Jews
And every other race, creed, colour, tint or hue
Get down on their knees and pray
The raccoon and the groundhog neatly
Make up bags of change
But the monkey in the corner
Well he's slowly drifting out of range

Alright. First the disclaimers.

a) None of these games come in their original boxes, those were discarded eons ago.
b) In *most* cases, if the game had a manual, I still have the manual, and you will get the manual.
c) I am posting the list now, with the stipulation that I have already provided the list to Smoove_B and Trent Steel, and they get first dibs since I can hand deliver to them and don't have to pay postage.
d) I will keep the list up until September 1st. Any games not claimed by that date will be going in the garbage. They have wasted space in my house long enough, I'm not keeping them forever in the hopes that they go to a good home. I throw puppies out, I'll throw these games out.
e) If you want something, you can post here so other people know you've made the request, and then PM me your address. I will do my best to mail games out within a day or two.

I will think more fondly of people that take large lots of the games, because that will likely save me money shipping. Also, I don't need any karma from the transactions. Since I am listing 70 or so games, and I want to encourage people to take large numbers of these things - maybe we can work out a deal with karma that doesn't require you to have to post 20 games to take 20 of these off my hands. I'm flexible. I don't know if this thread is. ;)

And lastly, some of these are old, or horrendous games. Some may require special hardware (3Dfx boards). They're free so if they don't work, I apologize in advance. You have my permission to then throw them away. :)

Games still available:
Rainbow Six Covert Ops Essentials
Delta Force
Sacrifice
Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns
Age of Empires

RunningMn9,

I'd take the following four games off your hands if they are available.

Total Annihilation
Myth: The Fallen Lords
Myth II: Soulblighter
Independence War

I'll also start working on my Karma. :)

RM9, I wouldn't mind Fallout 2 if no one else claims it (never managed to get it running on my old computer). Thanks.

When I get home, I'll put up some games for karma purposes.

I would rather give lots of games to a few people, than one game each to a crap load of people. I wouldn't normally consider postage a burden on PIFF stuff, but if I have to mail out 70 games individually, that's going to be a problem.

I encourage hoarding, as it makes my job easier. :)

I will just update the original list as they are claimed. Remember to PM me your address if you claim something.

Fair enough. I just found it amusing that precisely 7 minutes after you posted, almost every half-decent RPG on the list was taken by one guy ;)

Alright. I am going to work on getting all of the requests out up to and including Tony (except hitbyambulance). If you claim a game after this post, just give me a few days to acknowledge it, as I am probably ass deep in my box of manuals looking for stuff to mail out.

I apologize for the ackward nature of this (me asking people to request large numbers of games), but with 70+ games, and me not wanting to spend a fortune on shipping (or taking 7 years to find homes) - I just wanted to dump these as fast as possible, in large lots.

One of my many minions (RunningWife1) took care of shipping some goodie packages this morning. If the packing job is crap - blame her. :)

Age of Empires II: The Conquerors
Sid Meier's Colonization

Tony:
Daikatana
Empire II: The Art of War
Lords of the Realm II
Dungeon Keeper II
KKND
Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine
Tie Fighter
Star Wars: Rebellion
Dark Reign: The Future of War

I had manuals and materials for all the games that came with them (Myth II didn't, I think they are on the CD in PDF). Tony even got a bonus because I had the strategy guide for Lords of the Realm II. I assume my wife went with the cheapest mail devlivery option available, so it may take a few days to arrive. I hope the games get put to some good use, after spending years gathering dust on my shelf. :)

Ah, thank you. I semi-wrote the manual for A&A, but haven't played it since late beta, nor have I seen the manual. Funny, every other developer I worked with sent me multiple free copies.
