I think you mods got it wrong in moving this thread. I'm tired of this uneven, behind the scenes moderation. I'm outta here! The Meal wrote:Okay, Blackhawk and I discussed it. This belongs over in The Bargain Bin.

Well, thanks to the OO forum effect (happy to see that it's still as potent as ever, sigh), I picked this up on the way home from work. I went to install it and my copy had no CD key. Unbelievable! First time that has ever happened to me, and of course it had to be THIS game. I can't believe I actually have to drive back to the store tonight IN THE RAIN, find parking, and then beg some gamestore kiddie 10 years younger than me to let me return this open software for another copy, which I will be checking before leaving the store thankyouverymuch.
That's it, I give up. That's the last time I put up with this crap. I've had it with CD keys, and CDs, and kiddie game clerks (it was probably him who stole the CD key out of the gutted box LOL). From now on, I am only buying games through things like Steam.

I agree with the posters on the first page. Guys, you knew what this was going to be coming in. More of the same is exactly what I was looking for, and for $29.99 I'm not complaining.
The level with the bees was pretty annoying, though.

Does anyone else think this game should be knocked down some in its rating because it is on rails. I mean I have almost no options to choose my own path, the NPCs are serisiously lacking and the scripted events get boring after the 5th time a bad guy jumps around the corner at you. Other than that the game is a game of the year contender. Well that and the story is pretty week, I mean you can't even see the main character in the cut scenes, does this mean that all of the other NPCs are blind?
Also, I can't believe the forum mods moved this topic, it clearly belongs in the games section.

If it were a railroad sim NOT on wheels, I'd be PISSED!Scraper wrote:Does anyone else think this game should be knocked down some in its rating because it is on rails. That one train, where you go from Nebraska to Kansas? That level was amazing! They really captured the empty boredom of that voyage.
I didn't like the crazy raping buffalo though.

Except, as one poster said (and I'm too lazy to look up the name) the part about the bees really did suck.Eduardo X wrote:That one train, where you go from Nebraska to Kansas? That level was amazing! They really captured the empty boredom of that voyage.
I don't know who wanted this moved to Unreleased Games, but I *have* a copy and am enjoying it. You must live in some backwater or something; suxxorz for you.
